A motley crew of monsters takes on rampaging alien robots in this animated extraterrestrial smackdown.

When Susan Murphy (voiced by Reese Witherspoon) is hit by a meteor filled with outer-space gunk (on her wedding day, of all days), she suddenly grows to nearly 50 feet tall. The military leaps into action, captures her and whisks her off to a secret government compound where they've been rounding up other monsters over the years. Inside, she meets Dr Cockroach PhD (Hugh Laurie), an insect-headed intellect; a half-ape half-fish with a soft spot for the ladies called The Missing Link (Will Arnett); B.O.B. (Seth Rogan), a gelatinous, indestructible mass; and 350-foot grub Insectosaurus. After years in confinement, the monsters are suddenly called into action when a rampaging alien robot attacks the Earth. Under the orders of General WR Monger (Kiefer Sutherland), the unlikely heroes must now take on the aliens and save mankind from almost certain destruction.

Worth noting that there are other films on too if you have one of each, like we do! Tinkerbell for the girls, Monsters Vs Aliens for the boys.

Thanks for info - I have added details above

This is a weekly thing with the films changing weekly!
They also do some games ect befor the film starts!

Vue cinema's do a similar scheme called KidsAM

£1.70 for the child and an accompanying adult goes free.

Not as cheap as cineworld but handy to know if you only have a Vue near you.

heat added!!!!

Thank you

Nice one OP

Iv wanted to take the little ones to watch a film, luckily Aliens vs Monsters is part of this great £1 deal. Will need to book tickets for the 19th, which I'll have to do it early next week, because it only allows me to book for this Saturday only now. There is a 60p fee booking online, but for a total of £4.60 for 4 tickets with this offer, you can't go wrong.

I'm going to see if I can get a baby sitter for my little one and go and see Monsters Vs Aliens with my older 2 sons, they would love it :-) Thanks OP, heat added

empire do them as well for a £1 and they they do them on Sundays, went to our first showing last week and it was cancelled the film hadnt turned up could only see hannah montana and as we had our son and daughter they were very dissappointed

Many thanks!

Is it definately on the 26th?
I took my twins to the wrong cinema  this morning to see their 1st ever film, they are sooooo disappointed. I'm really hoping that it is also next week, or should I drive an hour to London in the morning to see it tomorrow .... I rang the cinema but they say they won't know until mid week, I wondered how the poster got the 3 dates?
