Great watch for the money,
I am thinking of buying one as a present, but it's a bit early for that.
You've put in the description that its mineral crystal, its not its the vastly superior Sapphire crystal.
Tissot automatics use Swiss ETA movements which are hackable and hand winding and are decent quality.

Lovely watch, great price

nice find

RRP is false as not worth over £400 normally, currently £395 at Ernest Jones. ernestjones.co.uk/web…ch/

Also beware of third party sellers as there are fakes of this watch available from China.

I have the "gold" version of this watch, I got it for about £230 last year in the sale at Ernest Jones. It's a good watch.

Very tempting as dress watch. Had a similar and given I am not supposed to wear a watch in my vocation & continuely washing hands, my last leather strapped watch got worn quite quickly.

Tempted by the Bulova as an everyday watch.

The god-tier of Tissot watches. Beautiful!

Unless its Bernards watch ill use my phone thanks

I've just won two Tissot watches to a total value of £1,000 from a competition . I was sent a link to their catalogue to choose which ones I wanted and they came direct from Switzerland. I too chose an automatic winding one but find that though it goes perfectly whilst being worn, if it is off the wrist for more than a few hours it stops, and though it starts immediately it is replaced it then needs the time re-setting, which is rather frustrating.

doesn't sound like a sale price .. cold !!

Is the strap on the watch quite loose? I had a similar issue (although not with a Tissot) - and it was because the watch strap wasn't tight enough - therefore the watch didn't get enough movement whilst I was wearing it. (slipping on the wrist etc.)
It could be that you might just need to wear the watch a little tighter?

Bit too plain for me but still a nice watch

I only recently purchased a tissot sport chronograph watch last week.

Paid £330.

Great stuff, and for those who don't know Bernard's Watch is a British children's drama series about a young boy who can stop time with a magical pocket watch. But to serious for a second, and putting the jewellery aspect aside, has there ever been a period in modern history where watches are as redundant as a functional item as now?

Do you know how Automatic watches work?

And why not?

If you google this watch, they are not selling anywhere at the £650 price. Still a good deal at £319, but don't buy one thinking you are saving 51%, as that is the RRP, and nobody pays RRP for anything these days.

On the official Tissot Shop, they are selling these at £395

Nice watch, think about it people WHEN the power goes off and it WILL this will still be working.

Yes - I read the post...and my reply was trying to offer an informed solution.
If he's not getting enough movement on the watch - due to the watch slipping around the wrist - then the battery won't charge.
I assume that you know how automatic watches work?

Hackable. Pull out the crown the watch stops making it much easier to synchronize.Lots of cheaper automatics do not have this feature.

Under 3k RRP watch industry RIP, everyone is going to be wearing apple watches with interchangeable straps probably lol.

be very careful with Amazon, had to send back a fake tissot prc200 and that came direct from Amazon not a third party seller. I regret not reporting them to trading standards because they didn't seem that bothered.

ended up buying one from goldsmiths the high st jeweller using Tesco clubcard points which multiply by 3 so £100 of clubcard points gets u a £300 watch.

How did you know it was a fake? I ordered this very watch from Amazon on 29th December, got an email saying it shipped on the 29th but the estimated delivery is 8th-28th January?

Note that the warranty is provided by the vendor rather than Tissot which is usually a sign that it's not an authorised dealer which will affect re-sale values. voted HOT nevertheless as it's a wonderful watch for the money

I bought from reseller Horloge SA and when you put their name in the Tissot website it says they are an authorised dealer.

300 quid for a watch that won't date? isn't that one of the two things it's supposed to do?

As stated by others the 51% off is a joke. Here in France I can get the watch for around the 425 euro mark which is about this amazon price. Nice watch but not a bargain.

not really half price as you can get it for 395 at the watch hut anytime.

great watch though

51% off is a rip off!!
This watch usually retails for £390-ish.
