Cracking deal, I have one of these in black and silver with orange silicon band. Love it.
Are these the Mission Impossible watches?
I'll give it heat, because its the best price around. I just don't think its worth it, they launched at this sort of price a few years ago, and something with a digital display very rarely increase or hold their value.

I'm not knocking the brand, I have a Touch Expert 2 and Touch Expert Classic.
I had a Tag Connected Upgrade (the Limited Edition Calibre 5) on order from February. Decided to cancel and get a refund and keep my Connected. To cut a long story short Tag Heuer have been an absolute disgrace and I won't ever look at purchasing one ever again! So whilst browsing for another watch, I came across this, I saw it in Bluewater recently at full price and liked the size and functionality. Something different added to my collection!

Why are they a disgrace?
I'm just curious.
Thanks

People who bought the original Connected watches had 5 options of upgrades available to them after 2 years. As the 2 years was up they changed the goal posts and removed 2 options (the best value ones!) and not long after completely ditched all options and you could only order the Limited Edition Calibre 5. Bare in mind it was costing anywhere from £1100 to £1800 to upgrade......we were left with the £1100 option only! Add to this the fact they've had no stock worldwide for 6 to 8 months so everyone still wanting to upgrade is on back order with an earliest shipping date of October 2019 with no guarantee. Hardly great customer service from a Luxury watch brand. They also do not release any updates or give reasoning for any of their actions, its all through 3rd party communication which is unreliable at best!

Ouch, that’s pretty shifty of them! ...but this highlights why I will never buy a smart/connected luxury watch; smart watches come with a best before date, and are ultimately e-waste. My Tag F1 is still as good and relevant as it was 14 years ago, when my late grandmother gifted it to me.
I loved my Tissot touch expert. Especially at a bargain price of £290 from Ernest Jones about 8 years ago. It should have just been a touch not an expert titanium they sent by mistake.
It will cost about £50 plus to change the battery. I easily changed it myself. Just took it out the case and it needs replacing after about 4 years. I just haven't warn any of my dress watches since owning the garmin fenix range. I should really sell it but just cant let it go.

Great find, I have one of these, slightly older (14 years older) only had new battery and service done twice

I was under the impression that when you buy an expensive watch, you get treated accordingly. But looks like I was wrong.
Can't afford to pay £1000+ for a watch anyway....
Thanks for your reply.

I don't think you need to wear a dress, for that watch?

I've always admired Tissot watches. Heat from me.
Thanks @KINGROBTHEFIRST I've been waiting for a deal on the Touch, even better it's solar and titanium
If you have an American Express Card check your offers. I have 6% back on any spend over £400. Quidco's cashback looks confusing. They have one offer which looks like it's up t 7% back on up to 50% off sale items. But then further down they have 2% off any sale items.
ok, here's a better one. Sign up for their news letter and get 10% off works at the checkout for me. So no need to worry about cashback tracking! Then if you have the offer from Amex you will get another 6% off.

If I've worked it out correctly it would make the watch £494.94
I'm tempted to buy this but I don't need it.

Just bought with the £100 off code. 0% is available too, if you don’t wish to pay at once. I’m looking forward to mine arriving, especially pleased with the titanium strap.
Mine arrived this afternoon and I’m not overly impressed with it. Good design, not too fussy but doesn’t excite me when I look down at it like my other watches.

Will probably take it back to the local shop tomorrow for a refund
