I work for a plumbing company and we use this vac on a daily basis. A lot of vac for money
I've had one of these for a couple of years and it's brilliant. Doubles up as a leaf blower too 😁
Brillant little sucker this.
Is there any way to "upgrade" the attachments?
Used to repair supermarket fridges and this vac was one of the best I used in the 12 years I spent in that job.
Very loud but big suck.

Yeah, I bought a brush attachment and soft floor attachment. I just bought generic ones on eBay.

Thanks. I need a new pipe too.
Any idea what size/diameters I need? Thanks.
Henry's elderly uncle?

You should have married her

And deny all the other ladies the pleasure of my company?
Silly question but any reason I can't use this as a normal vacuum cleaner for a flat?

You won’t have a rotating brush head that loosens dirt from carpets like a normal vac will have.

One approach would be to look for non working vacuums with good tools being sold cheap on places like gumtree or for spares or repair on ebay. Miele tools used to be good ( I think miele are mostly 35mm so may not fit), so were some models of samsung. I'd suggest looking for one with an aluminium telescopic wand and preferably a turbo head.

Alternatively look for generic tools.

We used to have a panosonic cleaner with reasonable suck, but a rubbish plastic wand and stiff hose, the wand flexed on every stroke and the plastic bottom of the head griped the carpet making it really hard work. In the end I peeled the hose off the spigot of the attachment to the vacuum, and bonded the much better quality flexible hose from our previous electrolux to it, so we could use the aluminium bottomed wand head from that, plus the telescopic aluminium wand and the tools from the one we had before that, which I'd found in the shed.

Completely transformed the machine, it cleaned better and could use it on full power without it gripping the carpet too much.

Do a search on eBay for 160859578691 and 312533098703. These are what I bought. The size is 32mm
I have one and only gripe is the hose kinks very easily. Heat
Does it suck good with wet and dry?

Same here -only problem is the hose.
I bought mine the last time they run this special offer and it gets used for DIY and garage cleaning. I also eventually bought the air filter as well, as without it, too much dust gets blown out of the exhaust.

What are people generally using this machine for? Just want to see if it would be of use to me. Thanks!

Do you think I could just hoover my garden / patio with one of these...?

Bought one recently and used a £5 off voucher as well. Great vac for the money. Reasons for the low price I would say are lack of any cable management and the attachments are poor quality. However it's perfect for a spare vac or for cleaning up.after DIY especially if.working with water but would.not suggest to replace a household vac. Comes with one bag, not sure.how much new bags are or if there are any compatible ones.

Excellent bit of kit vac bags are usually an extra tenner

Never used a Hoover where have you been living . Yes they could be used for car seats however I would not be confident that the tools would be kind to upholstery. Sure you can buy more friendly ones that are compatible.though.
Cracking hoover, only downside it's how loud it is, I use my for cleaning gutters and all dirty jobs outside , hasn't missed a beat, heat from me
Here is a video comparing a similar model to the good old henry
Yes they're a wet and dry + you can blow with it also.(as in leaves away or blow a pipe blockage out)
Could I hoover mucky gutters with this?

It shouldn’t have any problem vacuuming gutters
I had a hoover I wanted to sell, why? Because it was collecting dust!
These are good, use mine for the garage, loft and various places I wouldnt use the home one
Yes definitely

Its standard 32mm... and numatic/henry/universal attachments will fit. Just the hose has a different connector to the main body, but tools will all fit.
