Ive got this very one and paid the higher price. Fantastic spot OP.
For anyone considering buying one, they cannot be compared to the super dooper petrol zombie killers, but i used mine for pruning decent size branches/logs in my back garden and works a treat.
There must be many people like me who would only use one a few times a year and it seems pointless buying one that is much more expensive for such occasional and light work.
I'm very happy with mine and thanks again OP for your eagles eyes.

Great way to lose weight!

Seriously, at least read up on basic chainsaw safety (and engage common sense) before you go on your first chainsaw garden rampage.

I go by the, ‘They scare the out of me. I’ll stick with a bow saw instead.” Rule.
Given the injuries I've managed to inflict on myself with a bow saw, I hate to think what would happen with one of these.
Picked one up last year for a higher price took down 4 tree with it and will be using it soon to chop the rest of the logs up great bit of kit for light work
£39.99....................+£100 for safety kit?
We have one. Excellent value. Yes, they are slightly terrifying but the chain stops dead as soon as you release the handle so the chances of cutting off your foot are very small. They are ideal for clearing gardens, taking down large shrubs or small trees, cutting up scrap wood for the tip etc. You need to buy the chain oil at the same time - around £4.

Edit: buy a pair of safety goggles and decent gloves as an absolute minimum though as wood splinters will go everywhere.

Bought this from Screwfix for £50 - still going strong. Cut 5 or 6 trees from my garden. Bought new chain after cutting 3 trees.
Definitely get a helmet with a mesh visor, don't bother with a perspex visor unless you like cutting trees through steamed up plastic if you start to sweat.

I have this same chainsaw and it is very noisy despite being electric so ear defenders are helpful too
Picked one up today. And already cut through the cable. Lol. Schoolboy error. Have cut down a few trees though.
Price back up now?
Typical when it was £39.99 my local had none in stock. Now it's back up in price they have two available for click and collect.
Got one when it was 39.99 a few months back. Been great, cut down several trees with no problems.

Just dont let the chain hit soil..
