Saw this after purchasing the Erbauer Drill shared by another HDUKer and bought it, so have decided to share the deal

Seems fairly priced for what you get

Am considering returning the Erbauer combi drill I got as cant imaging using both drills?

Heres the screwfix ad:
Great value kit featuring a drill driver and impact driver with all-metal gearboxes, electric brakes and soft-grip handles. Both have LED work lights for applications in poor visibility. Supplied with 2 x 1.3Ah Li-ion batteries, 30-minute charger and carry bag.

1 x 10.8V Impact Driver
3 x 10.8V 1.3Ah Li-Ion Batteries* (add Product Code: 38930 for free battery)
30min Charger
1 x Carry Case

This would struggle with my walls.

it's a good price (£10 less and free battery worth £8) for 2 little tools so voted hot, however the reviews are mixed and tbh I would spend a bit more for the Ebauer twin pack or bought Sparky bigredtoolbox.co.uk/spa…-8v

I also bought this hotukdeals.com/dea…756 For £45. How would you compare the these items as I am thinking to return the Erbauer, Im not too clued up in powertools tbh, or maybe return both (£115) and buy an all rounder? anybody in the know able to advise please (Im just the average DIYer) Thanks

Very similar to the Wickes drill I bought last year when they were getting rid. Not had any problems and the storage life for the batteris is good. This seems a great deal with the two items plus 3 batteries.

I also bought this … I also bought this http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/erbauer-erh397com-14-4v-2-6ah-li-ion-cordless-combi-drill-screwfix-for-45-2036756 For £45. How would you compare the these items as I am thinking to return the Erbauer, Im not too clued up in powertools tbh, thanks

Why do you want to return it ?

If you are not clue up with power tools you do not need an impact driver.

The Titan Twinpack Comes with a nice bag style zipped carry pack and they feel fairly robust, says 2 year guarantee on the box also

Thinking to return the Erbauer as I bought it as an impulse buy (HDUK bug)
I thought the impact would be good to use on nuts and bolts when working on my car ?

The sparky set you linked to looks good and noticed had more torque, I'd love something I could use for car wheels (I think its around 120Nm? )

ok, understand but impact wrench would be better for removing stubborn wheel screws , that's a cheap and interesting product machinemart.co.uk/sho…nch

Thanks for that, Looking a fair price, I have considered the Clarke one as they supposedly come with a good warranty but have been umming and ahhing about it.

I think Ive done the classic thing and bought loads of what I do not need

Oh well hopefully the links good to someone who knows what they are buying

had these for a few months. impact driver is excellent. drill is fine for guide holes etc. very good value. genuinely not tempted by posher sets...
