Nice price but for £6.50 more you could subscribe to Origin Access and play Titanfall 2, battlefield 1, Andromeda, ALL access back catalogue and and even 10 hours of Battlefront 2 and Need for Speed Payback

True. And this would suit a lot of people. But i like to own it and not rent it.

Technically you don't own this either - EA can close the game when they feel like it and you will not be able to play it ... just saying

EA?!! Never ever ever would they do anything like that ever... hopefully.

Played recently thru ea access. Good campaign although very brief (completed in 5 hours on hard). Felt a lot like a COD game. Didn't bother with mp, which supposedly is not so active any way.

Thats a lot of failed mobile games and older yearly games on older platforms. I'd be surprised if titanfall 2 was on that list in tbe next few years. Now i dont like ea, but i do like titanfall 2. If the player base stays i dont see them closing it down for a good while. Longer than the subscription will last.

Agreed - I sub to EA Access ... great deal. This was in response to your comment about owning the game though

Burnout revenge was still available until recently (shock)? I'm actually kinda impressed!

Tedious comment honestly. Titanfall 1 servers are still online. Any game can have it servers closed, not just ea.

After seeing this deal I checked the price on Origin - a whole penny cheaper!
Played it this morning and spent a couple of minutes getting to a power core only to zip back to the Titan in a matter of seconds. Movement and shooting feel awesome in this game.

Only $10 on Origin US store if you are able buy from there works out around £7.80

Personally, I would recommend subscribing to Origin Access. I do and it's £20 for a year. You get full access to the Vault, which is 70+ games including several 'triple A' titles such as Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 plus they continually add more games...... I'd rather pay the £20 a year and have access to so many games rather than buy one and shelve it when a newer version comes out (e.g. Titanfall 3). Seriously, far better value to subscribe. Initially I was a bit worried about some of the negative reviews of Origin Access but took the plunge anyway and three months in, haven't had any problems at all.
