First post, be gentle!! :o)

The Tixylix Baby and Child monitor is reduced to £6.50 at Lloyds Pharmacy. Has been reduced gradually over the last few weeks from £35.99 (although this price was too high for a basic monitor IMO).

Great little monitor for basic use or to take to grandparents, etc. for their babysitting duties! Particularly useful are the two mains adaptors; one can stay in your bedroom for the nights and you can have one downstairs for baby's daytime naps.

doh i paid tenner for the fisher price one on amazon last night and thought that could not be beaten this is hot

These are a tenner in the store down my road, very basic but they do the job, bought some for my parents house.

It's a great price but it's an awful monitor. Paid this price for one about a year ago and it's one of the worst pieces of kit I've ever used. Constant interference renders the LED Indicators useless.

They do an excellent job. Baby makes a noise, you hear him.

We have had them a couple of years, they are brilliant, recommended! Hot Deal!

A basic monitor like this is all you need. HOT, thanks OP!

thanks mate. Just rang my local store and they say its £9.99 each. Is the offer nationwide??

Not voted as prices seem to be diff all over the place.Cheap if they are that price.I bought some fisher price ones a couple of weeks back and paid a tenner which was cheap. We have got through 3 monitors in nearly 4 years here

Same here.

Guess it's ok for occasional use given the price but it'll drive you nuts if used all the time.

Not sure, tbh, found it online. Just phoned my nearest branch who didn't have them in stock but said they could order them for instore collection at £6.50 and save me the delivery charge.

Had a set of these lasted just over 12mths of use every night, you do get some interference on them - but ideal for grandparents house for occasional use at this price - gota b HOT.
