It's called a loyalty reward, but yes that basic concept is dead to most companies nowadays.

Thanks for sharing @shlonakzeen - as this offer is by invite only do you also need to use the code 'Thanks' as well as receiving the invite ?
This looks like Amazons way of saying we're not discounting Prime anymore...

...or a ploy to sign everyone up and then offer the discount the next week

If anyone goes for this, don't forget to nab your free games.
Thanks OP
Suspect with Tesco Direct bowing out soon discount will not be as good as previous years.
But heres hoping, and dont forget to check out third party sellers prices before hitting the buy button.

As a complete and utter amazon fanboy who has been a prime member since it started and heavily use prime now aswell as normal amazon.

Yeah it would be nice if they threw me a bone once in a while.
Would just like to add, as someone who was already a prime member, i contacted them, told them about the promotion & quoted the first paragraph. Basically told them i found it a bit unfair that newcomers get free £10 compared to loyal customers getting nothing & got £10 credit to use on prime day with little to no hassle.
Heat added for all those invitiees ..

Any evidence of this? Before I get onto them.

I feel the need to share this somewhere.

Tesco decided to commemorate my 250th home delivery shop. I was quite surprised and thought wow its been that many, wow they actually paid enough attention to track and commemorate it. They gave me a card signed by the local manager with a message thanking me for my service. I thought how fantastic, and they gave you a unique gift for your 250th shop, so I thought ok nice, maybe they will give me some money off or a voucher. They gave me 250 club card points... like that equates to £2.50.

I worked it out, I spend about an average of £80-£100 a week on my Tesco shopping (not including the monthly delivery saver cost, or the extra bits I grab) so for my 250 shops, I have probably spent like £20,000-£25,000 in Tesco. And they decided to say thank you by giving me £2.50 off a shop? I get more than that off from price match!

Sentiment was nice, but man they failed badly. It made me more annoyed than if they had done nothing.

I doubt I'd have that kind of luck but how do I contact them to ask about this? I've been paying for prime for about 6 months & even £10 would be pretty great
Sent them an email and received a reply within ten minutes saying they were unable to apply a promotional credit to my account. They apologised and instantly added £10 to my gift card account to use on whatever I would like. The fact that I have been a prime member for many years and my email was very polite may have helped.

Thank you, Much appreciated!
Talked to them on live chat and got £10 promo credit............................

Thanks for your patience. I have checked with this information and it seems that offer is only for the customers who sign up the prime in between 3rd - 11th July so that is why you have not received this amount but as I can see that you are valuable customer and in that case I have successfully applied 10 gbp promo credit to your account as a good will gesture.
We value the customers like you.

Do current members get this too?
Edited by: "corin.gillingham" 5th Jul
I need a link to get them to offer it to me. Is there a link rather than text?
I tried them and they claim no such offer exists.
I tried too. No such offer exists according to their email, anyone got a link to it?

On the same account? I could do that but I feel that's pushing it a bit. However due to the size of Amazon, most likely stuff like this would go unnoticed.
why is this getting heat? It's not even mentioned on the site.

Its by invite only, so unless you received the email you are not getting the £10 off...cold
