Isme (£50 discount - expired) --> (unless you get 10% quidco cashback as well, which is very doubtful for Isme - now expired anyway)
Currys (£50 cashback) --> (unless you used 5% voucher as well in which case it would be unbeaten - now expired anyway)
Asda (10% discount) --> (£56 to £74 discount depending on 64GB or 128GB models listed above) - out of stock
Tesco (£30 discount)
I've worked out the savings from Quidco/TCP cashback. See description of deal above.
Cashback never includes VAT so your calculations are wrong.
Ah you're right. I overlooked that. I have updated the prices. Thanks.
Also it's only 2.1% topcashback on iPads (but 3% quidco).
Actually, I just checked and it is indeed 3% for the next 21 hours on Quidco, including iPad Air but not for Mini with Retina:
3%
INCREASED RATE EXPIRES IN 21 HOURS
for all iPads (including iPad Air but excluding iPad Mini with Retina Display)
However, Topcashback may be offering only 2%. But 1% different will only be about £3 to £5 difference in saving depending on model.
Yes, as I said, but it's only 2.1% topcashback on iPads
Edit: Your text here
Yes, you're right. I didn't see TCP before. But I went and checked that too anyway and added it to previous post before I saw your last message.
So yeh, 3% Quidco, but 2.02% Topcashback. £3 to £5 quid difference depending on model. But they could be referring to the older model as simply "iPad" and everything else is at 3.03%. Just guessing.
I think the iPad prices here on the Apple Store combined with the 3% quidco are about the best around at the moment.
I concur, bought the ipad air 16gb
Currys are looking good though for £50 cashback as well as 5% voucher which I used
Isme gave £50 discount already but am 99.9% sure Quidco won't give extra 10% cashback (in my case since Quidco didn't track new account).
In the end, I keep the one that keep their word in their cashback promise and return the others before the returns cut-off dates.
I have high hopes for Currys though who have validated the cashback claim and I'm just waiting for that final hurdle to deliver the cash to bank.
Where did you get the 5% Currys voucher?
hotukdeals.com/dea…386
See description. We were debating there whether it was allowed or not. Some said it was allowed others said it's not.
Edit:
I've added links to other threads too in first post.
Ok - seems unlikely you'll get the cashback if you use the voucher
That's what some said. But others said opposite right from the "horse's mouth"! Manager at Currys told me specifically that it was perfectly valid. I phoned KnowHow, and they told me it was valid. However, others gave opposite advice. In the end, I got a confirmation from an advisor who asked the manager for the cashback service that it was not valid. But we still doubted that reply highly. There is nothing in the terms that stops us using the discount code other than invaldiating DSG employees using a second voucher on top of their 'Colleague discount' (which may be higher percentage of 10%) with the words "This offer is open to employees of DSG Retail and may be used in conjunction with Colleague discount but not with any other offer.". Other than these words invalidating "other discounts", there is nothing in the terms for the general public.
Yet this deal is going colder and colder. People just don't see a deal do they and just vote cold cos it's direct from Apple lol.
This is the only day in the 366 you will ever see a deal from Apple. You can vote cold for them for the next 365 days.
Freezing this deal will not help others who are looking for a bargain of an iPad.
Let's see which one will pay up first. The other two will be returned without opening.
Tesco has shot up above RRP now i've noticed
You get a 2 year guarantee with Apple too. If you buy direct from them and you are the end user. They just don't like to tell you about it.
I recently had my iPhone 5 replaced by them which was over a year old and they told me under EU law they had to offer a 2 year guarantee.
Really?
I knew about the EU legislation but I thought there was some sort of exemption or get out clause. How come they only state 12 months coverage on the warranty check?
Is it a more stringent procedure after 12 months to get your phone repaired/replaced? i.e do you have to prove that the fault exists by design/manufacturing etc?
Would like to know more about this. I've just bought one from John Lewis this morning but I would have been better off buying from Currys as I have some vouchers.
I purchased my iphone 5 last september and now the sleep/wake button is faulty. Do I have a leg to stand on then? Or will they just tell me it's over a year old so warranty expired?
That's what some people at Currys said as well - however the latest post which claimed to come from "Dixons Retail" seemed to definitively say YES!
Yes it's changed from earlier this morning. I guess topcashback are just pipping Quidco's rate for iPads today.
ifan boys KNOW how to spell...
Should do. They exchanged my ipad mini last week after the screen broke. The kid said although it's out of warranty because of the recent EU law change I am able to exchange it today for you!

Providing you bought it from Apple and it hasn't been messed with by a third party, they'll sort it out.
