Only if you are short of wall sockets and even then it isn't that hard to get a extension lead. Maybe the smaller size and lack of power adaptor might help if you move your console around a lot but in most cases neither of those are applicable.

Wouldn't recommend this, 1TB is always worst value wise and won't go that far for AAA games either. Wait for a sale on a 2TB drive, which will probably bring it within £10 of this, even more so with black Friday approaching...
