Its an okay price, but you should be paying £40-£50 min for this to be a bargain deal.

I brought mine from Loughborough, in my car, all the way home to my house.

Yep you certainly can. Just don't expect the washing machine to work after or the ladder to be of any use...

From reviews...

This product was featured on the BBC consumer programme "Fake Britain" the day after I received them, where they tested it and said it was dangerous and not fit for purpose so I have returned them.

A fake ladder? How’s that work then?
As others have said, normal price I think. I bought these same ladders from a different supplier off amazon inc carry case and gloves in decem and cost me £69.99

Mine were from a company based in Loughborough called buydirect4u - they were selling lots of them at discounted prices. To be fair now you've challenged me for detail mine were 3.2m not 3.8m as yours are but I did only pay £38.88.

The 3.8m are just a fiver cheaper than yours at the moment but crucially oos!!!
Cheaper on eBay. Bought mine for around £38

Where on the Bay ?

I'm looking forward to everyone who buys these ending up in this years Darwin awards

It beggars belief that people will totally disregard their safety for the sake of a few quid

On the dock of the bay I think, you can sit on them to watch the ships come in and then go out again.

Safety wise, what's wrong with them? Was thinking of getting one
It might be paranoia on my part, but I question the sanity in trusting my safety to something that is specifically designed to collapse.

im on my second pair of the step ladder / ladder version from buydirect4u. i use them for work. hardly ever as ladders but every now and again. i always check the tabs are engaged. i have never had a problem with either set. used for about 4+ years.
forgot to say, when you get them out, the odd comment of they're good where did you get them from.

Far too many one star reviews saying they are flimsy and wobbly, even the positive reviews wouldn't use them fully extended plus the numerous mentions of trapping your fingers when closing them, but hey ho the money saved can be put towards a wheelchair and prosthetic fingers.

That enough for you?
there's nothing wrong with this design of ladder being fully extended, like most ladders; if your stood on the top step your ladders are too small. And it will be wobbly up there.

If you use it for what it's designed for/suitable you'll not have problems.
The description says use for any construction jobs, that's clearly codswallop though it's very much a light duty affair.
They work out at just below class2 (en131) so 23stone/149kg rating

If if you trap your fingers when collapsing the rungs then your clearly doing it wrong, there are warning signs all over telling you what to do.
