Great deal. These get great reviews on the Wickes website. Very easy to fit apparently. I think the only complaint was the seat is a bit cheap.

We bought one a few months ago (still unfitted) for £49 - wonder if I can return it and get the cheaper price .

And cue a slew of toilet gags and puns...

Ridiculously low price for a complete toilet

Could be a bum deal though!

Good price / heat added

They also call it "..a bog in a box..!"

I have just fitted one of these and can vouch for their value-for-money, even at the £49.99 which I paid. At this lower price, it's a steal. The cistern comes ready-assembled with flush/float, and the mechanism is quick and silent, with a dual-volume flush.

The only issue, as previously stated, is that the seat is rather flimsy, and of the elongated variety, so a more robust replacement may take some finding. I shall make do with the supplied seat, though.

An excellent purchase, and highly recommended. I hope this gives prospective purchasers something to go on (_;)

At this price, there's no chance of **** money up the wall!

And seat can be easily replaced.

This deal wont get you in the ****.

Ok, I'll stop now

I think this deal is pretty bog standard...

Waw this deal will have you running to the bog

Toilet to Go! Always makes me smile.:D

Good deal BTW!

do they do returns if it goes brown??

These are actually good toilets, I have one in my downstairs loo, and bought it when it was £49.99, so much better than any of the B&Q cheap toilets. Even better than my bathroom suite toilet.

I could do with this in the car...........

Money spent on your bathroom refurb won't be the only thing you will be trimming with this bad boy.

I hate how toilets these days have poor flushing, where you can still see your deposits floating after the first flush. Always makes me cringe and then I get flashbacks during the day of that sight!! ARGHH

Got that one at home... A few notes. Firstly, it is easier to clean compared to toilets I've used before. Secondly, when installing it, there is a gap between the tank and the wall (around 50mm). I suggest that you put something behind to prevent any accident if someone leans to hard against the water tank. Thirdly, Wickes own soft-close seat doesn't fit the toilet perfectly (works fine but edges do not match).

BOGOF!

This offer is loo-dicrous!

Perfect, we are just about to replace our bathroom and this fits the bill, thanks.

no sh1t?

I'm feeling a bit flushed

here's an idea, good sirs: how about you stop installing the cheapest possible "permanent" fixtures into your abode? I don't care how little money you have; the amortized lifetime of a toilet is huge. If it's your dwelling that you are installing this in, then really doesn't your backside deserve something a bit more durable over the long term? and, if it's "rental accomodation" you are sticking this in, well, burn in hell you greedy pig. the quality of rental units in the UK is a national disgrace.

About to change ours from dual flush to lever flush! How is it economical when you have to flush 2-3 times?

Amen!

A crapper is for life, not just for christmas (excesses!)

Pantastic Deal!

This will be my new Buck Rodgers toilet...

Seat and respect to OP.

Hey at this price I'll get one for the lounge.

We have one in an ensuite, so not in constant use and it has lasted a few years so far without fault. The flush is efficient, very quiet and fills quickly. In terms of durability, ceramic is ceramic no matter how much you spend and the internal fittings are plastic like all others. AFAIK the fittings internally are no better or worse than any other. I was surprised by how good it is considering the price, but they are onto a winner with this one.

I recently tried to replace an old toilet's flush handle with a newer push button type. Let's just say it would have been easier to replace the whole toilet with this and we would have done had it come in grey to match the existing suite! After messing around with the old toilet I was less flushed with success and more flushed with crap! ( I had to put a joke in there somewhere, it's rude not to! )

Im taking one of these to Glastonbury next year!!

Oh thats nasty!! Its amazing how dirty some people are!

Gonna get this, even if it only lasts a couple of years it's well worth the money if the reviews r anything to go by.

I posted this when it was £50 and got a sh!t hot reception (2035° in fact) - so have some heat from me good sir

If ordering online, need to factor in a hefty £5.95 delivery and packing fee - so £46 in total when ordered online.

agree with you completly. installing cheap rubbish like this in your house only gives it a tacky feel and for me it just lowers the value of your flat / house...

I work at wickes on the front end and can say i have never seen one of these come back.. just dont lift them by the plastic straps!!

ooo might get one for downstairs

does anyone know how much (roughly) a plumber would charge to fit a toilet?,

i dont want to do it myself (but dont want to get ripped off either)

thats the wife sorted
