Not the cheapest ever, but a decent price still!

Fragrance from the designer house of Tom Ford
An eau de parfum spray for women (actually, this is unisex)
A sensual blend of florals and spices
Base notes of patchouli, sandalwood, dark chocolate, incense, amber, vetiver, vanilla and balsam.
50ml bottle

The attention is captured by a sensuous blend of black truffle and ylang-ylang mingled with fresh bergamot and delectable blackcurrant. A dramatic signature unfolds with the custom-made black orchid blended with dark, tempting florals and rich fruit accords. The heart deepens with the intoxicating lotus wood. The decadent noir gourmand accord is balanced by patchouli, incense and vetiver.

I'm not exactly "selling it" to you, but from 2:15, this made me LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDqEy8DLdb0&feature=youtu.be&t=135

Fragrantica http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Tom-Ford/Black-Orchid-1018.html

"Black Orchid was created by perfume creators of fragrance company Givaudan in 2006. It was announced as oriental chypre. The top notes are French jasmine, black truffle, ylang-ylang, black currant and effervescent citrus. In the floral-spicy heart, dwells the Tom Ford's black orchid, imaginary more than real, and the base combines woodsy notes (patchouli and sandalwood), dark chocolate, incense, amber, vetiver, vanilla and balsam.

"Black Orchid is opulent, classically dark; its fragrance is in line with the best creations of the best perfume houses. Luxurious and sensual fragrance with rich dark trace of black orchid and spices, modern and timeless. " It remains to be said that Black Orchid is long lasting and with wide spread aura.

"This is not about an ordinary orchid, it's about something a little more strange and rare. I wanted the blackest orchid, and those aren't easy to find." The perfume is luxurious and the product range includes Eau de Parfum in 50ml (at US$90) and 100ml (at US$135) bottles, and limited edition of 5.000 15ml bottles of Parfum at US$600. The distribution is limited."

it has been cheaper at 49.99 on amazon but if someone needs some asap it's not a bad price
I'd recommend a skin test by wearing a tester at Debenhams or similar. This scent was very polarising for me on first smell and think i'll test again, but mind was set on not buying. So make sure it actually works on your skin.
I have had scents I've absolutely hated on first smell but grown to love them (Alien by Thierry Mugler which I thought was disgusting at first, and Truth Or Dare By Madonna - maybe my nose is f-ed up but I thought I could smell coconut!! both come to mind).

The reviews for Black Orchid suggest that it's best to familiarise yourself first and not blind buy!

I'd also be very wary of fragrance too cheap on Amazon, even those fulfilled by them as there are a lot that reviewers say are fake, and not just 'Marketplace' stuff. On the first page of reviews some state its a copy on this item.

Bought the 100ml from Amazon through Flubit for £62.23 recently, so this deal is rather expensive.
This may help those like me who love expensive scents but do not have the access to smell before you buy, if you go to the site luckyscent you can order 0.7 mil vials for about £2 each of nearly all the finest brands normally only seen in Harrods and high end stores, that way you can try aftershaves that would otherwise be unavailable and kind of try before you buy, also the blog whatmenshouldsmelllike is great for those who love to smell great and find out all about the lastest aftershaves out.
It's a phenomenal scent but the bottle is disappointing for something so expensive. The lid on my last one fell apart and the little gold ribbon round the neck is super cheap looking.

Voted hot though, coz it's what's in the bottle that counts.

(I thought you were talking about cheaper dupes pelaquin, turns out you weren't)!

The two I've seen mentioned is the Perfume Parlour (huge thread on MSE about smell-alikes forums.moneysavingexpert.com/sho…985 )

perfume-parlour.co.uk though the aforementioned thread does seem biased towards that one seller. Black Orchid here perfume-parlour.co.uk/black-orcheeds-for-women

Another similar site is theperfumepeople.net/cart/ (search is on the home page on the left). Or just plain ole ebay sellers, who tend to sell multibuys of mini sprays or perfume oil rollerballs. Tom Ford here: theperfumepeople.net/car…135 Black Orchid: theperfumepeople.net/car…886

The Perfume People seem to do more obscure or new releases though their website is a bit confusing to navigate - they do say "For a full fragrance list please email us: sales@theperfumepeople.net"

Haven't tried these dupe sellers, but might be worth a sample.

Edit: Here's some comments about the Perfume Parlour Black Orchid, seems a bit mixed: forums.moneysavingexpert.com/sho…php?p=33491861&highlight=black+orchid

not sure if oil versus spray form would make a difference.

This website is quite good too (some reviews also) smell-a-likes.com/

I used to wash with Tramp shower gel from Lush years and years ago, whatever was in that the ladies liked, I worked in a factory then (15 years ago) and the women liked the smell, it was better than avocado and lemon juice so maybe that was the reason. Anyway I see they make a Tramp perfume now, so I'm definitely investigating that, because they literally loved the smell and you can never have enough ladies is my motto.
absolutely stunning fragrance - so different from all the mainstream stuff that all smell alike. I wear this from time to time and it never fails to get comments from the ladies

You have to select the 50ml option.
Re my earlier comment about fragrance sellers who do dupes - just had the fragrance list emailed to me from theperfumepeople.net and it's pretty extensive! These sellers (including Perfume Parlour) are great for rediscovering discontinued (such as Chanel No9) or rare scents too.
