Great price. I am not sure if you can stack with the code for Amazon Family members but when sign up to amazon family which is free for 3 months and you can get £10 off when you spend £50 in their Baby Store.
Now simply add any product from Baby Store worth at least £10.01 to make £50 and depends on the price you have it for free or £10 cheaper

Yeah you can stack.

Poor reviews. Been looking at monitors for a while and much better would be to get the angelcare using the same method as above and applying the code: IR5D9LXZ for a further 20% off.

This is a fantastic monitor fab value & works really well. I would really recommend it

It all depends on your needs. If you like poor sound quality and don't need 2 way radio you can choose Angelcare.
I also have BT 150 Digital Baby Monitor with DECT technology ( I think Angelcare is analog ) and Two way talk back (Angelcare doesn't have ) and I see the difference like I can see between my first smartphone and the present one

I would recommend TOMY! And don't touch Motorola!

Not the best device in my opinion.
The Motorola we purchased from Argos is far better and more responsive.

What's the model number ? Can't find Motorola with sensor mat

I paid £60 for this in asda baby event last year it is a great mat

We have this and have had no problems with it, I would actually rate it quite highly as a monitor and we've had a couple. Sound quality is good.

Angelcare is like a good old CRT TV still good but it an old technology and the sound is very poor.

We have Motorola. I love it. My friend has this model. She hates it...

I have one of these and it's brilliant, the reviews are mainly by people too stupid to work it!

The mat has detected a couple of possible incidents and wouldn't be without it!

Some advice from a parent who has been through all of this;

1) Don't get a movement sensor - it's just going to needlessly stress you out every time it goes off. You don't need that increased stress when you have just had a new baby.
2) Don't get a two way talk back unit. If your baby is screaming, get up and actually go to them.
3) Room temperature monitoring is overrated. In this country, our bedrooms do get hotter in summer, and do get colder in winter. Unless you have no common sense, you will know when to put another blanket on, or when to increase air flow.

However, a camera baby monitor is indeed fantastic - you can see if they are awake and happy, or grumbling in their sleep, which you just can't do with an audio only one.

Awesome monitor! Awesome price too! Have been using this exact model for over a year and wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I have the angelcare one and the sound is excellent - the reviews are always more positive than this one.

Did you compare the sound quality to the baby monitor with DECT ? The sound is good unless you compare to something like BT 150.

It's been this price for around a month

Anyone recommend a good camera one?

Was considering the BT 1000 and summer infant touch?

We have an older version of the Summer Infant - Slim and Secure, had it 2 years now and it has been brilliant!

Have had this baby monitor, without mat, for nearly a year now...

Its simple to use, is very sensitive, had a temperature indicator and works well walking in and around the home.

However the battery in the monitor unit fade quickly, buy new rechargeable batteries AAA after 6 months. The power cable is very small and broke around the plug end, some electrical tape holds it ok. The sensitivity setting can be annoying, level 5 means the unit is always in and transmits any sounds from babies room. Lower levels means it will only sounds once the noise in babies room reaches a certain volume.

Overall good value for money at this price

I disagree with this! We have this monitor and it's brilliant. Personally I think the sensor mat makes you feel less stressed as you're more confident everything's ok without having to nudge the baby! We use the 2 way talk back from our older child and is it's very handy!

My oh my, the money these companies make from people with children by marketing insecurities. It's hard to imagine how the human race has got this far without baby monitors, heat maps, cameras, etc. I have no technology and my little man seems to be doing fine, as are my finances
