Amazon currently selling this at one of its lowest price. Some other colours are a bit more expensive, but still a good bargain.

And yes I know breastfeeding is cheaper!!

BBC watchdog did a segment on this a few months ago. It basically proves what is basic science.
Boiling milk & letting it cool kills the most bacteria.
This device does not boil milk therefore 'more' harmful bacteria survive.
Ok for healthy babies but vulnerable babies can be effected. In most cases you won't know your baby is vulnerable until something happens.

My thought - you took 9 months to make him/her take the 5 mins to boil milk and keep the little ones safe :-)

There was no proof on bacteria, even the doctor on their said it's a very small chance this could cause problems.

They used a very high Content and a new filter blocked it so shows they work, this was scare mongering.

There is nothing wrong with this product, I know loads of parents who use them and the children and perfectly healthy

Heat from me good price, i got mine for £35 and 2 others for presents at £40 last year so a good find

The black and white ones are showing as from 3rd party not from Amazon direct. Not sure how easy it would be to return if any issues arise!

Excellent price

I concur - there was more than a little scaremongering involved - Tommee Tippee noted they had requested the test data from Watchdog to do their own analysis but it wasn't provided and were mindful that the way the tests had been carried out had been flawed.

I know plenty of parents that have used one of these and they never had problems (changing the filter as per the recommendation etc).

There's plenty of discussions about this on Mumsnet should anyone need further info...

Great price btw

Here we go.... Leave all that to mumsnet please.

Great machine, lifesaver.

Absolute amazing machine if mines broke I would go straight back out and buy another one

Ignore crappy watchdog making up crap to make their rubbish program.

This machine is a life saver!

Just make sure you use the Tommee Tippee filters and not the cheaper ones that "fit"

I've had 3 babies.. 2 before this was invented and 1 after. We have one and it was the best thing we ever bought. If you're really worried about germs.. Boil the kettle first.. Let it cool and use that water. Or certain bottles waters. You're not living in an area surely where water is not safe to drink. And surely you sterilise the bottles too and the hot water shot kills germs in the powder.. If you disinfect everything your baby will have more health problems than if you let them get in contact with some germs from a young age.

Best thing I ever Bought! Highly recommended and fabulous price! Heat added x

Got one, awesome. Every generation has scaremongering over bottle feeding, last one was hot spots in microwaved milk. We do that too and have a healthy 18 month old despite our best efforts

As a young dad... These are the best invention since the television! Makes the night feeds almost bearable!

I always believe the opposite of what the BBC they say. Watchdog would be better investigating the TV licence and why in 2017 people are still sent to jail for refusing to pay for the BBC even if they do not watch any of their content!!

We used one of these - great machine. When you have a crying, hungry baby at 2am you appreciate the time savings this provides.

Been waiting for a decent price on these for some time, they come highly recommended from those who have them. Bought!! Thanks OP.

Fantastic machine. Well worth it at this price. Absolute god send when you have a hungry, screaming baby at 3am!

I agree with the positive comments from above. We have this for our little one and she is doing great with no issues now 5.5 months in.

The boiling water is put onto the milk powder. This is where the bacteria can be. This kills them and is then topped up with filtered water. As long as you sterilize your bottles first it is all safe. There is nothing i would do to my baby that I thought increased risk to her safety. Prove it is not safe and i'll not use it, otherwise enjoy making a bottle in 2 mins from standing start!

Why not just buy the pre-made milk for night feeds?

RicknVic

Why not just buy the pre-made milk for night feeds?

Because there a lot more expensive? And there cold so you have to go through the process of heating them.
TT takes all of 1minute and your ready to go

Great price, great product, great at night, great during the day. Used it for both our boys, no issues, would like to see the product test results, same with everything, someone will go out their way to find fault!! Heat added

Showing as £59.71 for me?

Showing as £59.71 for me?

Me too

I breast fed exclusively for 6 months but still have this machine for combi feeding now, still well worth the price tag

its coming up at £59 for me??

You can still get new open box ones for £46.66

Used one of these for our baby & hes 3 now and had no issues at all, absolutely fantastic device, could not recommend it highly enough. Continued using it until recently to make water bottles etc

voted hot, paid 60 just a week ago

I find using the kettle such a time consuming and wasteful process (water and electricity). From my noob point of view the machine is not only very efficient as you only use the necessary amount of water and energy, it should be also safer too since the water is dispensed at the right temperature. Leaving the water to cool down at the kettle seems very imprecise and I found sometimes just leaving 20 min that the water cooled down too much and left me concerned that the powder would not be properly sterilized.

Man I wish I had had this with my two!

My twins were born prem at 33 weeks and we have used this since they came home at a month old. No issues what so ever, indispensable.

cant see it for this price new

Was £53 yesterday, now back to £59.99

Brilliant machines, only problem is the 2AM disco lights and beeping, dream feeds are neigh on impossible with this thing on the go!

You can give a the anecdotes you like. Doesn't make what you are saying true.

Pasteurization (boiling milk and letting it cool) is how all drinkable milk is processed. Same stuff u drink in the morning.

The reason we do it again for babies is because SOME babies can have underlying health issues which make then vulnerable to bacteria.

My point is you won't know until you use it and your baby gets ill. It's not scaremongering. It's simple science. Just facts.
Pasteurization kills bacteria. The more you do it, more bacteria dies the longer your milk will last.

Example cravendale milk is Pasteurized and filtered more than other brands. Hence it tastes better and has a much longer shelf life.

Turns out this was a scam. The seller hasn't sent any out and has gone AWOL from Amazon. I've just had to request a refund.

mine didn't arrive either. seller didn't respond to emails. amazon have issued a refund thankfully

Got my money back too. Can't understand why someone would try to scam via Amazon when they've no chance of keeping the money.
