people were saying the mould happens if you don't clean it regularly i think.
i've had mine almost 2 years & never had any issues with it. definitely my best purchase for my daughter.

Amazing thanks OP!! Just what I've been after!
Called around stores near me and eventually found one with one left. Scanned through at £25 so price appears nationwide

Reading up on it, Tommee Tippee insisted that it wasn't mould, but carbon build up which occurs from not using the official TT filters. And that you can avoid it with use of the cleaning cycle.

Considering this is a product aimed at use with newborns I'd be amazed if there are any genuine safety concerns and TT have disregarded them

oh ok..yes i've heard that a lot of people were using the wilko universal filters but i've never done that. i've always brought the official filters just to be on the safe side

I genuinely post every time this is on sale to recommend it to everyone and anyone I can it’s a god send and worth every penny... however last week I decided to take the back off mine to have a look it took me a day to find a screwdriver capable as it comes with one strange screw. Anyway it was horrible in the pipes! I’m literally horrified my daughter has been ingesting this and I have always bought the tommee tippee filters from either boots or amazon and flushed the system as and when needed it’s always kept spotless! I contacted them got a few crap generic emails back saying make sure to use correct filters clean water ect before I seriously lost it and demanded they have it back and inspect it. It’s currently on the way to them but they have given no information about what they will do. I’m literally horrified here’s a couple of pics ( this was it after 2 flush throughs btw it was worse)

Yeh at this point proof of sale would be nice by one of the only two people to have grabbed this
Wow. This is ridiculous. Absolute steal. I bought one 4 years ago. Still got it, ready for the next one. These are incredible.
