deprnds where you get them from the and how many

I have about 23 versions of this kit from pound shops. Does Tommy give personal assurance that his is better than the rest?

Thought it was always charlie dimmock who gave out the tips
Btw good deal for a £1

Hit and miss range - I had one set which were like plastic on use. However the precision set of screwdrivers from Mr Walsh are brilliant

These are OK for assembling furniture etc (used them last night to do just that), not much use for mechanical applications.

woahhhh, poor tommy Walsh. like puma being ruined by sportsdirect.

completely agree that these may last one small job. my making shreds these for fun

Poor Tommy he must be hard up to put his name to poundland products.

He drinks Bailey's by the pint, an expensive habit that no doubt means necessary tat endorsing.

I've got this product because the Walsh packaging change and they generally seem ok. I got a Lidl tool set a few years ago where you get a whole range of tools in a plastic case and they are about the same quality as the screwdriver bits in that. There are one or two that aren't quite formed right for the smaller precision heads, torx etc but generally ok, same issue in the Lidl set and pretty common across the basic brand stuff.

DO NOT WASTE A POUND. i got these the other day with the same thought of it being cheap. It didnt even unscrew one screw before it broke the bit in the holder. they are VERY VERY soft metal. The same goes for the mini screw driver set they sell. They are robbing people of their money with these tools.

I wonder if he uses these at work? (_;)

I agree the screwdrivers are very good, well worth a pound.

these bits are ok if your doing work by hand, but are useless in a cordless drill/ screw driver etc..

I've got these and they are fine. Used in cordless drill no problem.

these might be ok, but they must be better than the other stuff.

I've used the wheel brace, it snapped before one nut came off, the hacksaw, bought it to cut the metal roller inside a roller blind, wouldn't even scratch it, the masonry drill bits to put said blind up with, managed to get one hole drilled, eventually, had to buy a decent bit to do the others, and the 5 piece paint brushes, snapped at the handle! They are, funnily enough, exactly the same as the ones poundland sold without his name on.

No doubt for extremely light jobs these will be ok, but think its flase economy. I dread to think what someones knuckles will be like after using the 5 piece spanner set on a car!

Single use only.

I have said it once and I will say it again!!!
Poundland is the modern day market trader that has gone inside and now has a roof over there head normally concrete in shopping malls up and down the land...
Yes markets have there place and 100 years ago were a fantastic resource, but these days most are nothing but dodgy con artists selling reject products to people with mug written on there forehead and god help you if you ever buy an electrical item from them, you would never get your money back, just like in the OFAH song..
Poundland also know no one ever brings there dodgy products back for a refund as they don't want to be seen as a miser by the long que's of women all waiting to be conned errrr I mean served, thats why you never see a customer service desk in them..
For Tommy Walsh to have his face plastered all over this range means Tommy has well and truly sold out and has probably cleaned up to the tune of a million or more pounds for this deal, he's sniggering I mean laughing all the way to the bank with this one..
If you buy any tools in Poundland then I'm afraid you get what you ask for, don't expect to come running back here!

Sadly these bits are as useless as Tommy Walsh is now. I used to love Tommy when he used to appear in those TV shows as the dashing, debonair, labourer that any old lady could trust. But sadly he stopped appearing on telly and took on a stint on youtube supporting a well known brand name (he never did any DIY on the vids, just gave his name to them. Finally he decided to have his name on Poundland tools (many of which are very good quality). Sadly these bits are not long lasting and will either round off themselves or the screw heads that you use them on after one or two uses.

Tommy if you are reading this, you can "mow my lawn" anytime and please go back to telly so that we ladies can all admire you once again and dream of having you as a husband. I shan't be buying these bits but will certainly consider other Tommy Walsh items when I next visit Poundland because I like the guy overall and if he puts his name to something, it must be good.....I think...

By the way, who is McCririck?

I agree.A lot of their toothpastes, shampoos, hair gels etc. have foreign wording on them.
Most of their diy stuff is of poor quality. My sister got sum duct tape from them the other day.Only problem was, they don't stick.:(
I mostly only go there for their cheap chocolates, biscuits and sweets.:)

times must be hard if he's selling his tools !

I found that these were slightly more robust than the Tommy Walsh tools.

And tasted better too.
