Really ? I was going to pick a couple up in the morning too' so it's not even worth a quid then ?

Handy for small screws and drill bits, heat added and its not a bad price.

I do a lot of diy and i'm going to pick some up. A good price just to keep your workbench tidy.

Ideal gift for Father's Day June 21st

Had one lasted about 30 mins before the hinge snapped ,load of rubbish..

the plastic is very brittle. broke with a gentle tap!

Broke very easily

The tommy Walsh range is just the usual diy range rebranded.

It's gonna be crap!

Can confirm, they just fall apart and split instantaneously. I've had 2.

They aren't even worth trying for a £1

I have one of these, use it as a sewing box fine to put anything light in but dont think it would be any good on daily use with anything heavy.

Very unfair, Tommy was/is a great guy who is good at what he does, which is to be a small time builder.
He doesn't **** and from what I've seen, tries to do a good job, regardless of the tv cameras on him.

He's a bit dopey, but none of us are perfect.

I like the guy and I hate most tv personalities.

This box though, sounds awful, from your reviews. He should know better than endorse this crap.

Thanks, i need a new sewing box and this will do nicely.

Have one of these in the touring caravan for the last 3 years for holding stuff like screws, cable ties, tape etc. for the moaners saying it's not worth a £1, get a life

well in a caravan that's rather different after all a caravan's walls are plastic so it would fit in well.

'Get a life' says the man who has a 'touring caravan' do you pull it with a Reliant Robin?

Had one for about 40 mins, untill all the lugs broke off.
I suggest you look at how many have no lugs on the store shelf before you buy.
Lol @ mr caravan

it would make good butty box..

Looks like my pounds safe.....thanks for the heads up on quality

Everyone moaning about the quality for a quid. Go on, live life and take a massive risk with that pound coin burning a hole in your pocket. Do it for Tommy!!!

We found Tommy

Unless they're biodegradable plastic, they've got to be good for storing things in the loft

Utter garbage, cold

Interesting that the Tommy Walsh range has only just started this year, but you've had one for 3.....

oO

You'll never fit a bottle of Baileys in that.

I bought one of these and didn't last long at all. There is a better one in poundworld. its a see through one with clips and it's small. screwdrivers and nails fit easy but hammers won't.
its strong like those lunch boxes they sell with clips,

Poor old Tommy I don't think his agent thought this endorsement through "Tommy Walsh - Spanner" Tommy Walsh - Tool"

Bought two of these last weekend and they are rubbish. Both ended up in the bin after I put some light groceries on top of them in my car boot and found out that the plastic walls cracked on both. A plastic bag is more sturdy than these. I'm sorry but that's not a deal, it's a waste of money.

For a quid you cant complain, but I got one of these just to keep some odd bits in inside a bigger toolbox and the catches/hinges are awful!
