Honest Question: Do People Still use dedicated Sat Nav Units?

I use Google Maps and that its pretty damn accurate including up to the minute traffic and re-routing etc. I have not had a single issues with using it. I guess, Is there a need anymore?
Yes I do, and I have the beanbag which saves me mounting it on my windscreen.
My tomtom has free map updates for life and free traffic updates too.
This looks to be on the small side - looks like it would be uncomfortable to sit on. Then again, I guess it wouldn't take up too much room in the lounge.
Great price, ordered, thank you.

I don't now, I use TomTom Go on my android phone, (and Mydrive from the website links to it) the traffic updates and re-routing has got me out of a few holes! I find traffic conditions update faster than Google, and don't "over-react" so much; even the free Waze app gives a more immediate/real time road speed and traffic conditions update than Google which seems to lag behind up to half an hour sometimes - comparing conditions at home before going out Google has me expecting local roads are at a standstill, then when you go out, they are clear!

I was wondering this. On my motorbike and in car I also use googlemaps on my android device. I'm genuinely surprised people still buy these units.
Ridiculous how cold this has been voted. Personal preferences and opinions should be put to one side. Its not cheaper elsewhere so hot from me
