Official Tomtom Car Kit for the iPhone.
Doubles up as a Car Charger.
GPS Receiver

Best price I've seen in a while, and its from Amazon.co.uk direct (not market place).

Alot of people will shun this as they hate the iphone / tomtom app for it... but this is the best price for the item... if you want it.
*Doesn't come with the iphone App (got the app today for £40 using the Argos deal on vouchers)

I've got an iphone so I won't vote but you can buy a full tomtom for that, or am I missing something.

£90 just for the holder? Bit of a rip off really considering you can pick these up for less than a tenner on ebay and most probably on amazon too!

I agree. If it's just a car holder you are looking for, there are other cheaper alternatives. I've got an iPhone and ended up buying the Navgon car holder for £25 when it was on offer. I thought that was expensive, but I wanted something sturdy that would hold the phone securely whilst in use as a satnav. Each to their own though, as some may have the Tom Tom app and want the accessories to go with it.

I thought this has an external GPS receiver as the iPhone one is, well, questionable.

The GPS in the iPhone isn't very good - not really up to use inside a fast moving car. This mount includes a GPS receiver to compensate so is more than just a cradle.

I agree with others though, you'd be far better off buying a dedicated Tomtom unit than messing around with this (the price would be more realistic if it included the cost of the app, but would still be too much in comparison to a standalone unit).

I think you'll find this will only fit perfectly with the 3gs... not the 4... hence price reduction.

i can buy 2 sat navs and then got spare money to spend on pr0n.

Ive seen it for much cheaper than this. Voted Cold

EDIT: Oh and you also mention people may vote cold because they don't get included or don't like the tom tom app. It's important to include (although im not 100%) that this can be used with other sat nav apps.

Bought one of these for my wife for Xmas direct from Tomtom so ordered in good time - She didn't want it and never even opened it.

They refused return, refused to accept UK direct trading laws, didn't give a damn. I promised I would publicise this at every opportunity!

Incidently, if you get a 950 and pay for a map update, you get UK and Europe but not the USA - Why? because Tomtom have lost it!

Finally, the 950 has a similar twist and stick mechanism - it is useless.

This is the best price I've seen, and reputable seller... thought I'd share.

I'm one of those people that doesn't want an iphone and an additional tomtom device. Hate carrying around lots of devices. Perfect for me.
Jump in car, mount phone and off I go. Phone call comes in.. use the speakphone built into this device... perfect.

I agree, you can get the tomtom device for cheaper, however .. I plan to keep my iphone for 2 years min. Might aswell make the best use of it.

wtf i bought a miles better brodit holder for my iphone which charges the phone and conects to my stereo and fixes to the dash without damage rather than a stupid garbage windscreen mount and cost a bit less (not cheap @ £50 with free fitting) but a heck of alot better

Where did you get the brodit mount fitted for free??

Its also worth mentioning that brodit do a mount which attaches to the tomtom allowing you to use it without the suction cup and put it on yout dashboard.
