Very good price but unnecessary. I have not used my Tom Tom in last two years. Google Maps and Apple Maps always upto date and no need to carry tomtom. Plus they tell traffic congestion ahead as well and avoid them .

Very good price but unnecessary for me. I just use my phone

i fixed that for you.

you forgot to mention that it was only relevant to your own situation. anybody who wants a sat nav, then this is a good deal.
Bought this, thanks op
I used to use the phone and Google maps or Waze. They are great, but for long distance the sat nav is better. Don't want to be using your phone as a map and someone rings, then the carry on of trying to get the maps back up lol

Maybe unnecessary for Sam of London, however, my mum who is 65 and drives, has a Nokia 3310 (no lie)
And So, she uses a sat nav.

Thanks for voting hot @sam_of_london but I think you need to experience the world a little more.
Sat navs are very relevant for anyone who delivers for a living. The phone is needed for operational messages and calls. The sat nav does guidance. Just because it can do it doesn’t mean it’s the best thing for the job. Sadly it seems it’s out of stock.

I'am sure i read somewhere recently that using your phone as a satnav is now illegal with a fine and points on your licence due to new rules recently brought out.

That is if you touch while driving or hold in your hand. Most people using phones as sat nav if you look around cannot be all breaking the law . It's upto date and fast and has a data connection and maps can be downloaded. No need to buy expensive TomTom maps and traffic update service.
