Think it only applies to individuals who got the email, although Iove the way that they tried to blag me to upgrade by telling me my old one (5100) didn't have lifetime maps, traffic or speed cameras and this was a reason to upgrade to the new 5200 - Just a bit wrong
Not sure why link doesn't work but try ti use discount code "summer_17_pnd" at checkout.
I own this nav and thank god for wifi updates..
I hate to say it but since EU roaming became 'free' I cant see how most people can justify buying a stand alone sat nav, using mobile apps such as Waze and even google maps you can get everything including traffic for nothing more than a small download and use of your inclusive data charge? Unless I am missing something?
Yes, try to have your mobile attached to windscreen in hot weather on long journeys and it will melt/fail (sooner or later) - where proper sat nav for people who drive a lot is a lot better option.

Don't attach to windscreen, plenty of options (custom or cheaper) to have them attached lower down on the dash/vents etc. e.g. brodit.com/bro…ome

Not true buddy. I have Garmin 3598 LMT-D for 3 years now and it is great, but hate these wires all over the place and to take it off and put on again on. Left once on windscreen, so some douche smashed window and tried to steal...
Where the phone keeps nice and cool on phone holder , which goes directly into CD slot.

you only get 50 miles free on android. Then it's £15 a year. Also, feel the back of your phone after a king journey.

I have a tomtom and use the app. If you travel a lot, a standalone device is best.

...and I have travelled 2300kms to Baltic States just a month ago and with TomTom on phone and it was fine, as navigation was perfect too.
