But does it include free safety camera updates for life?

good price.

tesco are doing it for just over £97 if you want to pick it up and get it a bit quicker:thumbsup:

Tesco is V2 (IIRC) as well so comes with an SD slot..

As for safety cameras you can't beat Pocket GPS World database. That is free for life if you submit a permanent camera that isn't included yet. Otherwise you need to pay a yearly subscription.

Buy from Tesco - the lack of SD card slot on V3 is a major issue from the point of view of upgrading.

Great deal.

This is not entirely true, the latest software is not available for the TomTom ONE V2 (pocketgpsworld.com/mod…690) Although I agree that it is easier to fit more maps on the V2 if that's what you meant.

I wouldn't say it's a major issue to upgrade unless you want to add the full European maps which are 1GB

The V3 has 512mb of internal memory which is more than enough if your staying in the UK and Ireland.
I have all the pocketgpsworld camera locations and Tomtoms with loads of added POI's and map corrections with the latest software and map and there's still loads of room left.

Nope!

Just when you connect it, you get the data for speed cameras then, then no more updates!
You also get to update the maps for only a month :x

I just got mine from Ebuyer for £104.99.

Do they do a price match promise?

Whoops, thanks for the update. I get a bit confused with all the DSG groups

current price on ebuyer is £93.99 with free delivery if thats any use to anyone

tom tom *****!

garmin is good!

TomTom coverage in Ireland on the latest maps is excellent,i especially like the software on the these units i feel that compared to the garmin the directions are given in good time and very accurate plus the voices are not robotic like the garmins:)For the money i would buy one voted hot

Can you just add a single country in Europe, or do you have to have enough space for the whole Western Europe map (which this doesn't have)?

I have one of these and it's been a pile of junk, first of all not long after getting it only the light would come on as the motherboard had to be replaced, 2 weeks after that was repaired the battery then went so it wasn't able to charge. a week o r 2 more after that the battery went yet again. It's been two months now and i'm still waiting for a replacement.
They said I t would take longer than a repair but I didn't think this long.

Good price rubbish product!

They are not Dixons they are dixons tax free and are rubbish - they are selling this same unit for £110 -

well I was thinking about this … well I was thinking about this onehttp://www.snooper-gps.com/snooper_strabo.asp?source=SG_str&gclid=CL3sx672gJQCFQ9KQgodoQcOXg

Hi, I have the TomTom One v3 and replaced ith with the strabo. Luckily for me I got it for £79.99 with free camera updates for life and at that price it was a bargain. It is not as slick looking as the Tom Tom but in my opinion much better.....It has an SD card and apparently the best camera database - so far I have been very impressed.

Is TomTom really the best systems out there?? Anyone?
