Just been to PC World (Stockport) where the above was priced as £179.99 (ie £20 cheaper than the non-traffic version on display). Obviously a miss-price, However non in stock (surprise surprise).
Went straight home and checked their website. Sure enough £179.99 on-line with [email protected]
My 2 nearest stores (in Manchester) had them in stock. Reserved at Stretford branch and went straight down (checked the in-store price and it was £230). Went to the [email protected] desk and was made to wait for 15 minutes while they "get the item from the back". Anyway the guy appears with it and says "sorry for the delay as there was a problem with the labelling" (wonder why??)
I checked the box before paying as the Traffic version is almost identical to the non-traffic version.
Anyway all OK so paid-up. Job done.
Don't forget Quidco too.

or you can get this delivered for £178.59 from easydevices.co.uk/

no quid co though.

well worth paying a little extra for the XL if you have sausage fingers like me lol however it has the same mount as the standard one so falls off the windscreen occasionally due to the extra weight so prop it onto the dash if possible.

same price at currys too and it is with the traffic

What does that mean, with the traffic, please
I am looking for one sat navigation system covering Uk and maybe Europe, though this is not a must. Is this a good deal? Is it easy to use? Please help

Taken from description

"With the TMC antenna and a free lifetime subscription to TMC Premium, this handy GPS unit will steer you clear of traffic jams, accidents and detours. The TomTom One XL will instantly calculate a new itinerary, which is better adapted and quicker according to the latest traffic information. This handy little device also calculates the quickest and shortest routes and toll-free routes, and also keeps you up-to-date with the optional real-time traffic information kit."

From my scouting about the TMC Receiver is a £50RRP addon to the std Tomtom so if the price difference is less than that between XL and XL traffic it would seem a good deal.

Dixons price doesn't include the bracket implying others retailers do?
