The TomTom RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver gets traffic information on the go, to your TomTom. For the one-off cost of the receiver you can get traffic updates and let your TomTom reroute you around congestion. By simply connecting the TomTom device to the RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver, you will automatically receive traffic information via the TMC connection. Once a journey is planned, traffic alerts which relate to the route are clearly displayed in the traffic bar on the right hand side of the screen. When you tap the icon shown in the traffic bar, you will receive further information, such as the cause or kind of delay to traffic, such as an accident or traffic jam.

Feature 1 Real time traffic updates
Feature 2 Calculate E.T.A.
Feature 3 Transfer traffic signal to TomTom

crap bit of kit drove 40 miles with a full clear reception of clasic fm (the station that they broadcast the TMC info over and never found out about traffic problems. Waste of money quickly passed it on on Flea bay.

Yeah, I found the one we got when currys had it on offer to be completely useless - it didn't seem to pick up any signal even when traveling through an area of very strong Classic FM reception.

Vote on the deal, not the product. If u can find it cheaper elsewhere fine.

I'm sure there are an equal number who will say it saved them from miles of traffic jams and works like a dream.

if anyone wants one of these I have one, got newer tomtom now as my 520 broke and it dont fit my new one, PM me £10 posted
