The TomTom Runner 2 Cardio + Music lets you run with music, not with your phone. Features 3GB of music storage, audio feedback, a built-in heartrate monitor, 24/7 Activity tracking, GPS tracking, multisport mode and automatic sleep tracking.

  • Run with music, not your phone: carry 500 songs without carrying your phone. That's 3gb of music wrapped around your wrist. So you can listen to your favourite playlists straight from your watch.
  • Measure your heart rate on your wrist: take a weight off your chest and go strapless. Track your heart rate on your wrist with the built-in heart rate monitor. Goodbye to sweaty bands and chafing around your chest.
  • Run smarter with real-time information: speed. Pace. Time. Distance. Calories burned. Your stats, as they happen. So you know when to push it - or when to shift it down a gear.
  • Track all your sports: go beyond the road and racetrack. Bike. Gym. Swim. Treadmill. Switch mode to mix up your training.
  • Track your activity all day: measure your active minute every day. Sprints, strolls, steps. Every active minute counts. Tracking your moves all day, it all adds up to time, distance and calories burned.
  • Wrist monitor.
  • Size H24, W3.5, D1.1cm.
  • Weight 0.05kg.
  • Batteries required 1 x Li-Ion (included).
  • Manufacturer's 2 year guarantee.
  • EAN: 0636926076319.

yeah im thinking of the same thing. Im not hard core either but would like to move away from carrying my phone and this would be perfect.
plus this is a few hundred quid cheaper!
does not look if it comes with the bluetooth headphone?
This looks a bargain. Currently unable to run for 8 weeks or I’d snap this up.

Nope I don't think.
i do up to 130km a week and buy the cheapest garmin watch available............find it hilarious that people spend hundreds on 'proper watches'............its not gonna make u any faster!!!! these tomtoms are a bit fiddly but its a bargain
The key thing this is missing (IMO) is smart notifications - unless I've missed that somewhere.

It already does call and message notifications - or did you mean FB/WhatApp/Viber those ones and the notifications for those - if yes then yes those are indeed missing.

Actually I wasn't aware of the call/message notifications so thanks for clarifying, but I think linking other apps is equally important, with Garmin for example one can choose which apps they want to be notified of through the watch, for example BBC notifications, social media etc which I personally find useful, and is the missing link for these TomTom sport watches IMO, otherwise, the onboard storage, GPS, HRM, long battery life at this price point make it a great option.

Agree - given that whatsapp is almost the default messaging solution for most people these days - its a big missing feature.
