not sure why all the hate for this. Does anyone have a better price for runner 3 with heart rate and music?

Tomtom withdrawing from market; you'd be bonkers to buy one at this price.

it’s voted as one of the best running watches and their sports app is great. What difference does it make if they leave the market or not. I assume there will still be some tehnical support for the app.
I have and older tomtom sports watch and it’s been great trough years... cycling or running. Just bought this and I’m sure I wont regret it.

Sports Direct. That's the reason

and what would be the problem with them? I have ordered stuff in the pastand returned without problems.

Wouldn’t buy a scrotum scratcher for £1 from Sports Direct. Never mind a watch for over £100.

I would if I could slap Ashley with it

Does this model come with the free bluetooth headphones?

Very hot, if so...

I haven't seen any firm reports about it yet. There are only guesses (https://www.androidheadlines.com/2017/07/report-tomtom-possibly-abandoning-the-wearable-segment.html). Do you have any firm evidence for your claim?

They are 'continuing to sell' wearables, but not make them. The recent firmware etc has been a disaster. The 'custom workout' support is laughable compared to Garmin.

The bog-standard 'spark' watches are possibly good value at £50 if you just want something to track your run, assuming you don't have the disastrous firmware experience that has been wrecking user experience recently.

I can't see Tomtom ever investing enough money in wearables now that they aren't making them to even get to where the rivals are at in terms of sophistication.

For £100+ you'd be insane not to buy a Garrmin, or a Polar, or a Suunto instead.

I see. Thanks for the information. It's a pity as tomtom, though a late entrant, is in the correct direction to rival Garmin. Together with Casio, they would be able offer consumers more choices and healthy competition. Their products, though not as refined as Garmin, are quite functional and offer good value. It's a shame that they just gave up too early, like Nokia IMIO

Nokia is back with a few good phones now that they moved to Android. Too late maybe?

Sadly, probably they will always be second class with Android, no distinguishing factors or brand loyalties.
