I thought I'd mention that TomTom's Sat Nav program is also free after everyone liked the free speed camera app. This app also includes the speed camera warnings.

Sorry if already posted.

I find Waze is better than Google maps as it offers speed cameras, accident spots ect
I'd recommend Waze. Brilliant free satnav app.
It's been free for a while, but it is limited to about 50 miles or so
Been using Nokia Maps / Here Maps (Now called Here WeGo) for donkeys years, its all free, SatNav either Online or Offline, World Wide Map Downloads, Speed Cameras, Traffic, etc, never had an issue.

Does it still have the limited mileage?
Are you sure? When I looked last week it was "free" but only for 75km per MONTH.
its only for free for 50miles then you have to pay for it. per month or per year.. its cheaper than it has been.. but still dont beat google maps

Google maps with tom tom camera and speed checker over the top.

I have tried this combo.
It doesn't work properly. As usual Google map is perfect fine but the cam app doesn't detect the motion
Reading into it further it seems to be limited to 50 miles a month.
Google maps is the best

A great alternative is Sygic, uses tomtom maps
I'd recommend Waze. Brilliant free satnav app.

Never had a problem with the combo (drove to France and Germany), shame it does not work in Android Auto

Just looked at Waze, them permissions are a bit ott...
It's normal TomTom Go App using freemium model since it was released in 2016. Don't see how it's a deal

Wave is owned by Google anyway...the only bad thing about wave is the ads
As has already been said this is limited to 50 miles a month and even I drive more than that.

there are lots of alternatives I like sygic maps, it was expensive but only £20 now for lifetime. Here maps is free and does offline navigation.
Here WeGo is fantastic and freeeeeee.

At that rate (of what some of you above mentioned earlier), it would/may therefore prove cheaper perhaps to possibly just buy a sodding physical TomTom Sat Nav thing off of somewhere like QVC for about £60-£70 odd?.

Which in turn will not only be the price for however many Miles, and/or Kilometres you want, but will also include LIFETIME Map updates! ('allllll in' for life basically?).

Though of course much cheaper/free alternatives exists obviously ...

Case in point:

hotukdeals.com/dea…467

That could be a potential option too for some I guess?.

I remember the time when those Nokia Maps first came out (pre-Microsof acquisition that is), they were BOTH exclusive to Nokia + used to coat a sodding fortune too!, hahahahahaha.

Thankfully alllllllll them 'external criterias' are no longer some form of stumbling block either ... lol.
Mapfactor navigator - free and has speed cameras, I've used it for years all off line.

I'm still on London A to Z book
I use navmii on iphone. Its free and works great. It doesn’t need an internet connection to work either.
Here maps beats Google as works offline, so can use in foreign countries with no expensive data charges
WAZE beats all of them. Traffic always updated and loads of shortcuts in real time.
You do not know how much time you lose in traffic without

Nokia Here Maps are awesome as they work offline as well and was always free
Whats the point with giving 50 miles for free? Am i gonna keep my car at home after 50 miles 🤣

I agree (assuming you meant HereWeGo)! Car hire in US, just download the relevant map beforehand, sorted!
I prefer Waze and wouldn't waste any of my phone memory with extra apps.
The Gadget Show did a test recently which featured both Google Maps and Waze and both were as about as good as each other, no clear winner. I commute every day to work, been using Google Map combined with Tom Tom Speed Camera app and had no issues works faultlessly.

You might be better off with a Nokia 3310 and a dedicated Sat Nav then.

Disable its access to data so it's WiFi only and there's no adds
