Just got an email from TomTom offering discounted price speed camera subscription for £8.49 for 1 year, by using discount code "WDSCGBP" you can get £11.50 discount, which makes it £8.49.
Might be helpful for some people as Oct half term around the corner.

Be warned ...I downloaded an update which then froze the screen . Tomtom help were no help.
best not to get updates ..sorry ...good deal, but not from Tomtom ...read reviews..

Great thanks ,,,, bargain at this price. I am one of the millions of people who dont have a problem updating my TomTom - of course no one writes when things just work only when they dont so it distorts reality !

Recently updated mine for 1.5 years for £4 using codes from hotukdeals.com/vou…843

Cheaper not to go over the limit

Never buy a tomtom product. I followed their instructions to the letter on a recommended update and it killed my satnav - they refused to repair so I will do what i promised them I would do and warn people at every opportunity.

Or if you have an older device just use fastactivate to patch the navcore, latest maps/cams/postcodes

Just did this myself and it worked perfectly (have to use IE/Edge, per the comments). 1.5 years for £3.99

Yep, this worked for me a couple of months ago. Couldn't get it to stack, even after clearing cookies but £3.99 for 18 months is a no brainer.

I keep meaning to look into that. I begrudge paying for the maps now that the devices come with lifetime updates but as my old device works fine I can't justify an upgrade. It was a top of the range model at the time and have spent circa £230 on updates over the years. They really should allow free updates to all now as their original customers helped get them where they are as a market leader.

this update is not worth having, they hardly ever change any info in the update files for the maps let alone speed camera locations.
