I received this the other day, and actually used it to update my maps, first time in 4 years.
Does this include UK as well as the rest of western Europe ?

Thanks
Not 100% sure but the website will tell you
Where do you put the code in?

Been on the website but all I can do is get it to open Tomtom Home

UK and ROI are included in Western Europe however they are also sold as a separate package.
go to the shop then click on maps and enter your device then click on map you want ,should be an option to put code in on checkout
Comes up for me:

"The code you entered does not apply to any of the products in the shopping basket!"

That is with the "Western Europe - Downloadable item" selected.

Any ideas ?

Same for me.

when I try the option for map with 1 year update, it requires 'tomtom home' to be run?
I have UK/Ireland maps..can I use this code for updating it?
I have a TomTom one Uk version about 4 years old.Usually they want over £50 to update it even though it cost me £88 to buy it in the first place! ! Would be interested if it would work on mine. Anyone successfully tried it?

Not valid for this

not working for me at the moment

Was it the same code for you...
Doesnt work for Western Europe for Go 720
My thought is that you will need to use TTHome as the download will sync up with the serial number of the TT satnav and, if it were a straight download, with no satnav connected, you could install it on as many satnavs as you wished and that would never do now would it??
It was worth a try but also doesn't work for Go 730.
Go 910 didnt work, pasted and typed the code
Note that this is posted as an update and a Western Europe map must already be installed to use this code.

I have a Western and Central which is on offer to me at £22 through TomTom Home without a code.

For anyone that has not updated for some time this is a good deal and heat given.
£16.24 should the the 'normal' price for map updates. TomTom's pricing is too high for me
Remember 8% quidco too. Thanks OP.
for some reason I cannot go to checkout, cannot say if the code works either. Something must be wrong with the website (TT start 20 eu)
Sorted (in different browser) but the code doesn't work. It seems that I am already getting half price update :
£37.48 instead of £74.95. Still expensive though. Will not buy. Still a hot deal for those who can get it for 16.24

I cant see the "voucher code" box.......goes straight thru to enter card details, then it says "this will take 15 seconds to process your (£64) payment."...........help please
I have an XL tomtom Europe, I received the same e-mail this morning, but limited to Western Europe (they obviously don't know who has what anymore!!)... shame as I need the whole of Europe and that is still at £59!!!!

Free maps? Pirated maps you mean.
You can get free televisions too - just borrow a sledgehammer and smash the windows and shutters of Richer Sounds

They might be pirated, but TomTom's prices only encourage it. The same as any piracy. This is a much more reasonable cost, if it works.... The fact you can buy a new unit for not much less than the cost of the maps on their own only emphazise this.

yes, the UK is in Western Europe
Thanks OP. Will check this out.

doesn't work
Doesn't work.
Nope, no luck here either. No items in basket applicable.
OK, so there are two different aspects to consider here.

This appears to be an update to existing maps, the only way tom tom will allow you to do this is via tomtom HOME and NOT the website

Now this is the problem, I go to TomTom Home for my existing 720 and there is nowhere to enter the voucher.

There is a voucher code on the website but this doesnt work because you are trying to buy a map, not upgrade it!

People here is a pic of the email i recieved showing offer when i click buy it now it takes me to checkout and there it gives me the code which says i must use for discount

One way it might work for people is if they register for tomtom email alerts and they might recieve the same email

Sorry i tried adding pic but didnt work anyone give me an idea how to add pic from pc

Can you post the direct link?

try uploading to somewhere like imageshack.us and post the link

(Odd as just checked and I am actually subscribed to TomTom updates but nothing received!)

Thanks, when you click the link can you copy the address it goes to here? Or if that doesnt work, we can get geeky as you are in Outlook.

If you right click the message, go to properties, then details and copy and paste that text into here. We should be able to pull out the link from there

Thanks mate will remember for next time
Is it possible to copy and paste the URL which appears on your Internet browser when you've clicked the link on the email

Thanks
Looks like this won't work for the "Via" devices as they don't use the Tomtom Home app.

Shame
is the offer specific to what model of tomtom you have? I've got an xl western europe and best i can see is half price map with 1 years update for £38.24, nowhere to insert the code
