Argh. NO.

Go out to gamestation, go to the preowned 4 for £10 and pick up tony hawks 3, 4 and underground. Also, another game of your choice.

You save £10, get three of the best skating games in history, instead of one of the worst.

Activision sure know how to ruin their franchises. New levels and music plus a graphical update is all I want, not another 6 confusing new ways to play, with barely any of the pro skater integrity left.

Better yet, spend a little more and buy EA Skate. That's a proper next-gen skating game.

I kinda... sucked at skate

Just like I sucked at real life skateboarding.

But still, I can't wait to see what activision do with Tony this year. I honestly have no clue why the guy doesn't jump that sinking ship.

Tony 2, 4 and underground. By far the series' best moments.

Its the cheapest price around yes, but EA's SKATE makes the Tony Hawk games look & play like garbage.
Get SKATE instead.

Original Poster

To all above I just post it for the price, If you can find it cheaper new then fair do's, Everyone has their own tastes when it comes to games and anyone interested can check out the hundreds of sites that offer games reviews, So lets not turn this into a PES Vs FIFA, THPS Vs SKATE thread.;-)

Skate is better but not bad deal

probably something to do with the reputed $4 million a game+1.2% net royalties... i've owned them all since the beginning, I still play 2 most weeks (six, seven years on or whatever and i'm still chasing 100% completion!) and I like the ship level in 3, have recently got into Wasteland on the 360 with the remakes of classic levels, seems like they tweaked the speed from the originals and they run a lot faster, which is great!
