Did you remember to switch hammer action off?

Adaptoooooor! X)

Both Brits and Americans use the spelling adapter with greater frequency.

What's cockney got to do with it? Most British people aren't from the East of London you know?

Find it funny that the site hook line includes 'write better' which doesn't look very grammatically correct.

no because it was a masonry drill

Even with masonry bits you cant use hammer function with these chucks attached, you will just destroy it.

better off buying a cheap drill instead?

Bought similar for screwfix with my Makita sds a few years back, very useful and yes it states all over to turn off the hammer function as does this in the one liner description, those muppets who can't read or think it's a good idea to ignore maybe buy a few as they are cheap ?

any one know where i can get the reverse - 3 jaw to SDS adapter?

sry no idea
but could you not just put your sds drill bit straight in to your non sds drill? make sure it clamps down on the shaft.
