I wouldn't bother dealing with toolden, they have no stock control, take money, then tell you 3 days later the item is out of stock. That's after they have harvested your details of course.
Absolutely......if you're not in a rush, there's often big reductions for makita gear on Amazon (the recent 3A batts for £22, orbital sander with 5A battery for £82 etc.) I've also bought quite a bit on Amazon's warehouse and most have been new, simply customer returns. angle grinder was £49, impact drill was about £30 for instance. All still going strong.
Funnily enough was looking at this last night, found an eBay seller from USA, 5 piece kit for £450 including shipping and taxes
Totting up without case there’s ~£610 worth of kit (assuming no deal on anything - there have been some good battery deals recently which could knock a wedge off). The combi drill is makitas most basic lxt combi, whilst it’s ok for diy, for trade I suspect most would want something more compact and with more torque. I’d argue that, unless you absolutely need every tool in this kit right now and the case, you’re better off buying individually exactly what you want plus twin charger and a pair of 5Ah batteries and build from there. Edit: Also this kit is available from fastfix for £615 anyway...
