Toolstation Claim a free reusable hot & cold Koolpak with an instore purchase and the voucher from the letter sent with postal catalogues

Heads up really to look out for this.

I received a Toolstation catalogue in the post. At the bottom of the letter which came with it is a voucher. This can be used to claim a free Koolpak reusable hot or cold pack when making a purchase in store.

Obviously this is only a deal for those on the Toolstation postal mailing list.

It is not valid for telephone or online orders.

I am unsure as to the cheapest item from Toolstation. Put 99p for the price but some items may cost less.

Worth claiming if you are going to a Toolstation anyway. They are also found in some Wickes stores.

Voucher expires 31/03/18.

I forgot to take a photo of my voucher before redeeming it today.

Will upload a photo of the Koolpak.

Unsure if Toolstation does this regularly with new catalogues or not.

Seems like a useful thing to have. Especially as it is reusable and can be used either hot or cold.

Got the catalogue yesterday (same day as screwfix!), No letter... Maybe only certain locations.
I sometimes pop into Toolstation for DIY stuff but they've never had the freebie in stock. It was an "LED headband" last time and I think a pair of work gloves before that. Always end up throwing the coupon away.

Could be area specific. The letter did say to claim it from a store I've been to. I assumed it would be sent out to other people. For them to claim at local or nearby stores that they shop at.

First gift item i have claimed from Toolstation. Have claimed a few of the Screwfix free items in the past. Those vouchers are redeemable at any branch and without having to make a purchase. I therefore thought it was something Toolstation similarly did when new catalogues are out.

Perhaps others will comment that they also got a letter and a voucher, with a catalogue in the post? Otherwise it could be a store specific offer.

Got the catalogue and voucher this morning - North East location.

Previously had free gloves and paint brushes with earlier issues of the catalogue. Toolstation are an excellent company, keenly priced products and excellent sercice at my local branch.

Thanks for confirming you also got the same voucher. Maybe they forgot to put one in Merlin001's envelope?

Those other items with earlier catalogues seem good and useful too.

Hopefully both Toolstation and Screwfix continue to offer a gift with their future postal newsletters or catalogues. Would be a little better still if they just emailed the vouchers.

Maybe someone forgot to enclose the letter with your catalogue.

I got the football from Screwfix and posted it as a freebies deal on here. I think the ball is good. Others seem to want a premier league quality football.

Do you go nearer to when the voucher expires? Bit odd if you go just after it is issued. Unless your local store customers are rather keen to get the gifts and quickly claim them.

Shame really as would have been convenient as the shops are about 30 yards apart and on way to/from work! Never mind I'll settle for the footie....

Did make me smile seeing "worth £4.99" on screwfix voucher!

I suppose you could send a quick email to Toolstation Customer Services and ask if you were supposed to get a letter and voucher for a Koolpak. Explaining you know others who received them. They may send you one....hopefully your local store would still have stock by the time you receive a voucher.

Microwave it, to heat it; or freeze it, for it to be cold.
I got one. Sent I still cannot understand why anyone would want this in there pocket

It is more for if you've pulled a muscle or for aches, possibly for burns or even cuts to help stop the bleeding. Also to reduce swelling. It is useful to have at home. Must be applied wrapped in something and only for max of 20 mins at a time. Not something to be carrying around all the time. I thought it was quite a good gift. Not something to put in a toolbox. Likely to be pierced if it was.

See amazon.co.uk/Koo…Y4Q

Edit: This could also probably be used frozen as a freezer pack to keep food or drink cold.
