How does sticking a licensed image of a mythical racing driver on a USB stick and doubling its physical size make it worth more? This is Hot Deals, not stupid deals!

Not voted though, maybe someone will get a kick out of it (for 5 mins).

At first glance I thought that was his actual amputated thumb!! Yuck!

Some say he knows the answer to over 8 million true or false questions and that Leo Tolstoy's epic novel "War and Peace" is simply 1s and 0s to him... all we know is... he's a cool USB Stig:p

Is it me or do other
s think that Top Gear has been losing the plot lately?
A bit too formulaic now .. overpriced pointless tests on unacheivable sports cars
Then a bit of 'news' with prehearsed banter about obscure Taiwanese import products
Then a daft challenge that also is prerehearsed but made to look all spontaneous an' that
A toff guest who fancies a bit of a blast around a racetrack which looks pretty much like all the other blasts ..
Then back to the 'challenge' in which the competitors always oddly seem to finish mere seconds away from each other ... over a country-long race ....
And then there's Hammond odd 'new look' and immature smugness .... and .... another thing ...

Tho May and Clarkson can still get by on personality and guile alone ....
Er ... thats it ... now you can go!

Bundle of fun ain't I?

LOL... But you know what, I kinda agree with you.... It certainly is getting to be a bit formulaic and samey now. I still watch it religiously every week though.

I asked my mate about it the other day and he said.... "I enjoy it although i'm clearly not enjoying it as much as the three presenters who are paid vast sums of money at the licence payers expense to have a bloody great laugh and do all the things I'd give my left nut to do." Nice job if you can get it, I suppose hehe

Still, you can't say its not a good money spinner for the beeb - I think they sell the program in practically every country in the world now LOL

Oh, and the USB key; not for me, but good for fans. HOT!

All true, but still the best motor prog ever put on TV and there are usually a few chuckles in each programme. You just have to watch any of the others to remember how awful petrolhead TV was before 'new' Top Gear. The team themselves have said many times how surprised they've been at its popularity and longevity.

I thought the 'Vietnam Special' at Christmastime was the most over the top - until I went there in Feb and discovered it was within millimetres of reality!
