Good find. I bought a Samsung from this company unfortunately a bit dearer than the posted offer.:-(
You can get a FREE scrap collection from them though which is good. Just ask them after you place your order:-). Heat added.

Hot.

Looking for similar but with the steam function.

The Which site states the following is the machine tested "Samsung WF80F5E5U4W" This is the 1400 spin speed one and may be better. Only Currys retail this model linked to the which website and is priced at £489.00.

I purchased the 1400 spin from ao. With Quidco (2% cashback) and £50 cashback from ao (not got the form to claim it yet... Hopefully I will) i will end up paying £337.10

Oh and forgot to add the 5yr warranty!... Model: WF80F5E0W4W.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/buy-samsung-ecobubble-wf70f5e2w4w-washing-machine-white-free-delivery-349-currys-1768663I went for this deal - 1400 spin rather than 1200.

Faster, but with a smaller capacity. Depends on what's more important to the individual I guess.

So want this machine, ours is on its last legs, but gonna have to hold out until it goes kaput I think.

Where did you see the cashback?

I'm getting the WF80F5E0W4W delivered tomorrow from AO. The pre-christmas price was £395 and it's now £429. However, Google Adwords still shows the £395 price with 50 cashback and Electrical Discount UK have it for £393.89, so they price matched that and I kept the £50 discount.

5 year warranty details on the page.

I'm paying £343.89 in total.

Cue the Miele/Siemens brigade.......Hot.

The quality, features etc of Miele washing machines are a step up but not everyone can readily spend a grand on a decent one.

I know that we couldn't afford to buy a Miele when we bought our house 4 years ago so we got an LG instead. It's done fine over the last 4 years but there are small things you notice that mean it's not as good as a Miele. Things like clothes tend to wear out quicker for some reason.

I'm directly comparing it to the high end Miele my parents have, where we lived for a year to ride out the chaos of the housing market and my next machine will most likely be a Miele.

On the subject of this deal with the 5 year warranty, most definately hot - especially if you're about to welcome a baby into the family, as you'll find that you wash clothes more often. just make sure that the warranty is parts and labour - I think it's hotpoint that still do labour for a shorter period and fleece you that way.

The model that Which tested and rated as a Best Buy isn't the model featured here - period!!

hi, just a reminder to everyone. I saw a Samsung washer before Christmas for £399 at sonic. As soon as it turned 1st jan it went up by £30. Just be careful with the so called "January sales"

No one said it is the same model! Read properly!

Phil... I ordered mine on 26th Dec at £395. Price has gone up now. When I ordered it, it did have £50 cashback but not anymore. Apparently u receive cashback info 72hours after invoice is emailed, my delivery came 2 days after the order & i got the invoice on Tues so am waiting for the email to claim the cashback. The exact same washing machine i purchased was on Curry's for £519. I am never good with getting deals so i am praying i actually got one this time. Lol... Now I gotta look for a fridge freezer for a family of 7!

Spin speed is laregly irrelevant - after all what you want to know is how well it dries your clothes, for which the much more useful spin performance rating is what matters.

Surely this is better than similar priced Bosch machines according to Which??

If the 8kg 1200 rpm drum is a larger diameter than the 7kg 1400 one the centrifugal force of the larger drum will be greater will it not?
So maybe the clothes come out of either in a similarly dry state.
Any scientists out there?

Absolutely - along with other factors such as the pattern of holes in the drum, length of spin, distribution of the clothes. As I said, spin speed on its own is meaningless which is why the EC has gone to the trouble of concocting a spin performance test. I don't know why people seem to ignore this.
