Looks like it's straight out of the factory that Ring use.

If so, that's a good thing!

Appears identical to to the Ring RAC600, which is pretty good (I have one):

You snooze, you lose

Haha
Thanks kramvic; bagged one
I've found these to be a mixed bag. We have had two of these, an AA branded version and one Ring branded. The older Ring example has worked fine for three years with average use, the newer AA unit failed on its second outing - ejecting all its oil and then seizing, nearly melting the cable. Not voting cold though as they are good when they work.

No because it already has the larger optional wheels on it, runflats would only increase his dental/chiropractor bills further X)

Expired and code SUMMERSALE doesn't work on tyre inflators
I recently bought the Ring version off Amazon, tried it once and returned it, because the tyre connector is a screw type it let's out air when you put it on and again when you take it off, so you never get an accurate reading, very poor design, ended up buying one from Argos with a clamp connector and it's much better.
Thanks OP ordered
I've got this but nozzl is plastic and doesn't fit properly and lots of air is wasted
I've bought a car battery booster which came with a compact air compressor. It just does the trick. X)
I had the RAC 635 and the digital lcd display stopped working within a few months. I can still pump up a tyre but wont know what the tyre pressure is. Not sure if its worth be buying another one. Any advice?

Would you consider claiming warranty if its really a few months....

Just used SUMMERSALE for this.

It definitely won't work for me! It says: One or more of the products you have choosen are not included in the promotion code you have used and will therefore not benefit from the promotion code. However you will still be able to progress with your order. For a list of products that are excluded in the promotion, Click Here

Then when I click here it says tyre inflators are excluded from the promotion, so I don't know how you're managing it!
I just bought this for quite a bit more and like it. I dont have any problems with air escaping - just tighten it up quick and take it off quick. Great having the auto-stop feature.
Ordered just now.

'SUMMERSALE' code worked for me

Looks like I managed to get same day delivery for free too, looks like a website glitch. bonus!

I can't get the code to go through......odd....
I bought one of the RING branded ones from the same site a few years ago and it's been great. The programming to a set PSI was nice, but a bit of a faff, so now I just start it and watch the read out before stopping at the desired pressure.

The air lost is probably minimal if screwed quickly and is there any real need to have tyres to such a precise measurement? I also assume the original measurement isn't correct in the first place. All I do to correct for this is notch the tyre pressure up 0.5PSI over what it should be. They're deflating as soon as you remove the pump any way.
ordered one a few months ago in the last deal posted here. broke after 40 secs of use. got a refund. maybe it was just mine but several others also reported failures....

most inflate to about 0.5psi above what you set to account for a small amount of air that gets let out when removing the fitting.

the quick fittings also let out air and they are prone to breaking, the brass screw connectors on the screw ones wont break or wear when used against standard valves

There are alot of bad reviews on Amazon for the Ring one which is obviously the same, but lots of good ones too, the problem is every one I look at has plenty of bad reviews as well as good lol

The solution is probably not to get cheap stuff then. Both RING products I've owned broke very quickly.
