Tbh this is more of a garage starter kit then a general DIY kit.
Keep an eye out for the halford pro sets (life time warranty) for screw drivers, spanners, etc.
I've never trusted the quality of these, am I wrong ?

Cheers Madcow
I've done brake pads, droplinks and various jobs round the house with this. For the £ don't think you can grumble with what you get.

I guess it all depends on the intended use & frequency. This kit seems overkill for home DIY - the sockets & spanners would be more suited to working on mechanical items - such as lawnmowers, bikes or cars...There was a much more suitable home DIY kit posted earlier that included a hammer.
Found it: hotukdeals.com/dea…588
For DIY I say just buy b&q branded tools or whatever, buy them as you go. Break them and buy some more. For electrical and mechanical stuff you need a decent set of higher quality tools. Tolerances are finer and work is harder, you need better quality tools to not ruin the stuff you're working on. Also, you don't want to be using you nice insulated terminal screwdrivers on woodscrews, for example.
Another crap from EUcrappyparts. Not even close to Craftsman.
Thanks for posting @dexmiller we have added this to the Highlights section
I had identical set but from Halfords. It's great for someone starting out to provide a decent variation of basic tools, they won't last forever but I still have a lot of them and tools are something you acquire over time. Great deal
Maybe half of the 150 items are the screws, nails and 'raw plugs' (sic).
There are 1/4" and 1/2" sockets but only a 1/4" ratchet listed?
Good price

No there are none of the above items, the reason why the number is so high is because they count all the screwdriver bits individually.
I have lots of cheap tools that I never use, that I bought before my expensive tools that I never use.......I’m such a tool.
Nails and raw plugs. Just what your engine needs.
No 18mm? you Know the one that you really need?....

Had these and they don't last long, might seem a great idea short term but utter garbage long term. Plus oil everything or expect rust....

Do not buy , this is not worth £10. Cheap, made in China probably
