But it's an entirely different device. Looks quite different.
Anyone have any experience with the device in the deal?

I bet you they are the same devices with different logos (the rechargeable version).

As these come with free batteries it's cheaper to buy this than new batteries.

Nope, look different to me too.

Oh dear, silly me.

I can't see where it says that. Other than the OP.

So batteries with free torch.

I think I'll just go to bed and wait for my torches as I'm not on the ball tonight

I’m sure you will see the light soon
By chance I saw the torch posted in the deal on the counter at my local hardware store.
Looks bright and seems pretty robust.
So I have now bought one (from eBay as it was much cheaper than in the shop).
Heated.

Did it come with batteries?
Just received them. Don't know what I expected ... not even 0.3W. Do not waste your money, stay with lil larry from Nebo - can be get for 7 quids from Screwfix.
I went for the rechargeable model the OP posted.
What a brilliant bit of kit, well made, powerful and ideal for my work, it even has a magnet on the pocket hook to hold it in place while working.
Fantastic little torch.
Here is my rechargable one in action, simply brilliant bit of kit and for £3.64..... wow.

Just tested mine and it seems OK for the price, the cob is quite diffused and while not as bright as my 3w head torch it isn't bad for the price. It's certainly comparable to the cob on the video posted by kudos1uk above.

Build quality is good and again megnetic clip is handy. Ideal for working at close quarters on cars etc.

I have some of the rechargeable ones, yes more expensive but great little torches.

Spend a bit more and get the rechargeable version.
Mine's very bright - well worth £1.75
Very pleased with my purchase.
Expired, now £4.99 for both this or the rechargeable one.

This AA A-driven one is different though. There's no spot light, in its place at the tip of the device is the switch. The COB strip light is plenty bright enough for me though. £1.75 is a steal for what you're getting. Did not come with batteries, wasn't expecting any. Picked up a few.

Great deal OP. Heated when it was live.

The OP provided a link to both in the first post, this is why I made it clear I had bought the rechargeable model to avoid confusion.
