Voted hot because it is a good price if you actually want to buy it but I would recommend you should think twice as I found top up TV to be a terrible service and ESPN really does not offer a lot of good sport except the odd premiership game. I had to pay a £20 activation fee to take out my 'free' trial and I can't see any small print on this one so be a bit careful if you wanted to try before you buy.....

I agree.
With the free to view service i get on my TV sometimes I like watching the premiership. I think ESPN shares half of the match broadcast with Sky Sport. This way I only pay £9.99 a month no contracts involved and i can start and stop it anytime.

I am currently paying nearly £60 with Virgin Media for the full package, I hardly watch TV : -/

It's not 100% clear on whether you'll need to pay the 'connection fee' or not - following the Q&A link from Comet to the TopUpTV website, and then looking through their offer T&C's, it suggests that it will be waived between a certain period in March (end date of 15th), which as we're now past, perhaps suggests why Comet are selling them off cheaper.. so looks likely that you will have to pay the £20 fee and have a contract for a minimum of 6 months too, which - with paying for 5 of in total - would mean an outlay of £69.95 over the 6 months period (£9.99 for 5 months, plus £20 fee)

It would otherwise be a cracking price if you weren't tied to a 6-month contract and/or had to pay a 'connection' fee, too..
