The Topfield TF5800PVR (or "Toppy" as it is affectionately known) is a uniquely specified Freeview PVR. The Toppy's devastating flexibility enables you to watch and record a combination of up to FOUR channels at once, to output combinations of up to three programmes (including recordings and live transmissions) simultaneously via its twin RF outputs and scart socket, to record/pause/rewind/fast-forward live television and to edit recordings on the hard disk for later playback or output to your PC.

Further, the TF5800 allows user-developed application programmes - or "TAPs" - to be added via USB2, increasing features and functionality beyond the already impressive array on offer, enabling limitless software control possibilities. Yet, with all that functionality, it is a sprightly performer - channels change in under a second, bringing an end to frustratingly slow Freeview surfing.

Top Up TV CamAdding a TUTV cam (available from the options on the order bar) enables the use of a TopUpTV card in the TF5800's "Common interface" slot, or select "Cam+1 month" to include the TopUpTV card with your first month's subscription prepaid, as well.

What are you waiting for, go and buy one now!

Thanks for this pedro
I bought a 250gb Topfield about 8 months ago and it's probably the best gadget that I've ever bought. Absolutely superb machines, and you can change how it works with downloaded programs called 'taps'.

pedro above has mentioned Peter Tyson. They are local to me in Carlisle and are a very reputable company for anything AV or audio. You should be 100% confident when buying through these guys, they have been selling this kind of equipment for many many years and can be trusted.

Thanks for this pedro6994
