Tasting Notes: "Picota" cherry red. Roasting notes with ripe black fruits and preserves. Smooth attack with round tannins on a base of strawberry and blackberry jam. Perfect with stews, game and meat paellas.

Wine Color: Red

Grape Variety: Garnacha/Grenache , Carignan

Vinification Details: Skin contact for 2 weeks with a week-long fermentation under the controlled temperature of 26⁰C and then aged for 6 months in a mix of American and French oak.

History: Torres has over 150 years winemaking history and exports to over 150 countries. It is a family-run business, now on the 5th generation family members, who continue to blend tradition with innovation, producing quality wines across the globe.

Regional Information: Catalonia is a region in the North East of Spain, with Barcelona as its capital city. It is one of the oldest winemaking regions in the whole of Europe - dating back to the time of the Phoenicians. The soil type is mainly limestone, which is perfect for viticulture here.

Advertised in stores at £5 but charging £6.98 at the till. Dodgy Adds advertising for one price and charging you more. If you go on Google it shows their website and states £5 but when you click it says £6.98

Just checked the website and it is listed at £6.98, sounds like you were charged the going rate .
