this toshiba or this …this toshiba or this sandisk?https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sandisk-128-gb-ultra-a1-micro-sd-card-with-adapter-1599-at-base-3268046

Toshiba has a U3 minimum speed of 30Mb/s on sequential writes but SanDisk is a U1 so min of 10Mb/s.

Both are very good in terms of warranty being 5 years so longevity shouldn't be a problem. I haven't had any SanDisk fail on me, neither have I had any cheap Toshiba ones fail. SanDisk do have a 10 year warranty and I have used it before and it is very good, they provide ups label and you'll get a new one by the end of the week.

These are different capacity cards but it does seem Toshiba have the edge here in speeds due to a U3 class in writes.

Though some Toshiba cards have seen writes of 15Mb/s so it is a silicon lottery with them it seems as well.

EXCRERIA is a terrible name for a consumer product. That's an excellent price though - hot!
Good price.
Toshiba memory cards are excellent.

Yes, the feedback I gathered seemed not promising but as it's life time warranty, you can go for it noting it was up to £12.99 few weeks back. So, up to you.

Like £13..!

Did not have browser open for actual price. Exact price £13.95.

My question was the write/read speed seems good. Are the quality item rebranded. I don't mind paying a bit more for stability buy don't want to pay more of not needed..need it for a camera.

Just asking, Why would you use Micro SD for cameras and not SD card?

Just bought a canon Eos M50 for £400. Looking for a card. It actually takes SD card but the microsd can be put into an adaptor and plugged in. I think the microsd cards are also cheaper.

Just cannot imagine how they fit all that memory into it!
Had a u3 Toshiba card, very slow at reading and writing 4k footage. Stick to Samsung. Night and day difference.

For 4k, the main lineup cards wont do but it all depends on the bit rate and compression techniques the camcorder or phone has. Some have high buffers so it wouldn't matter so it's not just the card as well.

You'll need something that can sustain the high bit rate, I personally have used Lexar for 4k recording, but this high storage card is useful in circumstances when you need storage in limited space devices like newer laptops with 128gb ssd's with no secondary storage.

It won't be lightning fast but it is ok to keep backups of images and videos which don't get accessed a lot.

I have used a Toshiba SD and haven't noticed any difference with the SanDisk Ultra, albeit 2 years ago but I doubt there is a difference today.

Also any of these main line cards don't have long endurance ratings for continuous writes so I'd recommend an endurance sd for home assistant or dash cams.

Yes, it's gone up now. Keep on checking, they tend to down again in few days.
Just bought 3*64Gb cards for £18 from mymemory. Seems read 100 write 70MBs so should be good. They say lifetime warranty.

Nice find, mymemory.co.uk/mym…tml

I myself don't know much about the memory inside the SD card but if it gives good speeds and has a good warranty then why not
