Goes for 449 without trade in. Looks like a good price for a fairly reputable laptop with an i3 processor (i3-370).

- Intel Core i3-370
- Windows 7 Home premium
- 3GB memory
- 320 GB HDD

Listed as originally sold at £579.99

Curry's seems to have just launched a trade in promo.
£70 off from any laptop or pc or £100 off when you spend £500 or more.

(I think it's downright dishonest for them to list a pc at £499.99 and because it wasn't exactly £500, you get £70 trade in value instead of £100. Ridiculous. Culprit=HP DV6-331S1A).

Lol are you crazy? SO if a PC is £480 then should they also let you off? Where do you draw the line? There have always been laptops at £499.99, are you trying to imply that they have dropped products to £499.99 on purpose to avoid paying the £100?

The whole point of them offering more trade-in for sales over £500 is to try and persuade people to go for a more expensive laptop!!

I understand the point you're trying to make, but to brand them "dishonest" is a bit far, the rules are clear and i don't think theyre misleading. Above £500, £100 off. £499.99 is not above £500, yes it's very close but it's black and white!

toshiba is ruubish brand, wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.

*also is says "when you spend over £500", (doesnt state just the laptop has to be that price) so just buy a small item with the laptop and hey presto, you're above £500!

I looked at this laptop today, its very nice.
Also it is common for a cut off on offers, I had to find something for a penny or more in New Look to use their £10 off a £40 buy but it was worth it

rash

I disagree we are about to purchase our 3rd Toshiba laptop in 2 years, very happy with them
