Same here, says 2 days but then no stock

Got this two years ago for my bedroom. Use it every night, good telly!

"We are sorry but all your items are currently out of stock at your local warehouse"

Nothing in local stores and can't arrange delivery (despite it giving you the option even after entering your postcode).

Good luck tracking this down.

got all excited, none in stock any where near us, oh well never mind

another argos wild goose chase

I had the same thing with the Argos website displaying no stock for delivery right at the end of checkout! I telephoned Argos and eventually spoke to a manager, who was quite sheepish about the whole offer and the availability of these televisions. Once I complained about the validity/legality of the offer and the seemingly nationwide lack of stock (I live in London and had also checked availability at numerous friends/family addresses across the UK), the manager said they would get back to me regarding stock etcetera. I received a return call several hours later and the manager apologetically told me that they had located a small amount of stock (only 30 units, supposedly?!) in one of their warehouses, and that they would happily fulfill the original offer. I was then able to immediately complete the purchase of a Toshiba 22D1334B 22" Full HD LED TV/DVD combi in white for £80.99 with free next day delivery (television will be delivered tomorrow).

Just goes to show that if you are prepared to take the time and put in the effort enquiring/complaining, you can often get what you want and deserve, especially when companies are being economical with the truth'!

Though this is nationally advertised product and price, it appears that Argos don't actually have the stock/capability to meet even the most meager demand. However, conacting them over the telephone, as I did, and complaining about lack of stock etcetera may be worthwhile. Just my experience, but this is a fantastic television at a simply unmissable price (over 20% cheaper than anywhere else) and, therefore, worth the extra effort in my opinion! Heat added for the great TV and super-bargain-price, but a frustratingly poor show from Argos, unfortunately!

Just phoned Argos complete waste of time said they use same system as us, it shows TV has been discontinued and they haven't any stock in warehouses!!!
Unless you have name of the manager who found this stock and know where the stock is kept, Argos doesn't know about it!!! Lol

^^Wow...what a douche! I was merely telling people my experience - I'm not lying! What could I possibly stand to gain from that? I shall upload some sort of verification, if I can find or create some anonymous enough.

It's not like you spoke to 'Argos', you conversed with a representative of Argos, whereas I escalated my complaint through various people to eventually a senior manager! If you have been told one thing when contacting Argos, is it too much for your obviously slow intellect to grasp, that I and others besides could be given differing information, which might not be common knowledge?

1st of all there is no need to be condescending, I was simply stating what I was told by someone at Argos.
2nd of all I wasn't asking for verification on what you were told obviously Im not the only one with a low intellect!! I simply stated what i was told that without a managers name or location of where the stock is they have no record of it on their system ....which is laughable.... Not a dig at you.....a dig at yet another company which doesn't know what the left hand is doing from the right!!!
So instead of being rude and impolite to someone why don't you find something better to do.
