Came across this in-store when enquiring about TV's. Was not even on display in this smaller store. May be on show in bigger stores. Price is £249.99 less new vat discount.

went in for one of the 26" inspiRED TVs yesterday, but ended up with this toshiba instead.. very nice!

@dirtybobby
which store did you get this from please
have just noticed you live close to me because of the "staffordforum" site
this is a good price for this lcd

none in about 5 store near me (ilford). must be end of line i was told in one store

Got the second last one at my local Sainsbury's (Darnley store, Glasgow) on Monday.
Not on display there either and were no where near the electrical department , they were on an end of aisle about 3-5 aisle's away.
Girl said they were expecting another delivery of TV's around Today dont know which ones though. Decent price and dont need to worry about any future problems with it (if any) thanks to my Royalties Gold account which gives me 2 years extended warranty on any electrical purchase with my card. :-D
Had no problems with my Toshiba 37WLT66 in the 3 years i've had it, so touch wood this will be just as good.

The problem with Sainsburys is that their offers are 'hit and miss'. You might rush to your local shop and they don't stock them. It would really help if people said where they got their's from in the listing. I have wasted my time on several occasions, so Sainsburys, like Currys offers don't get hot from me any longer..

Probably best to phone around your local Sainsbury's and ask them if they have any in stock. Some of them will reserve one for pick up too if asked.

just what i've been looking for.. i know there's great value to be had in 32" tvs but just a bit too big for what i want. only pity is i can't find 1 in a sainsbirys near me... YET! heat n rep added

you've pretty much answered your own question there - it was the stafford store

Colchester Tollgate had a few yesterday

I bought one of these last Saturday from the Northfield store (West Mids). I originally went in to have a look at the RED one but saw boxes of these next to them, none of them actually on display. They had about another 6 on the shelf so may be worth a try. Defiantly a good tv for the money!

Budget for some cheapish 2.1 computer speakers to plug into the headphone out on this.

The sound on these smallish tvs is tinny and hollow mostly.

That said, hot from me.

Nice deal!

hi
sounds a good deal
can anyone tell me,is a 26" too small for a main tv in lounge?
i have an old black square 32"
would it seem tiny
thanks

Yes I think so, I have a 32", sit 8 yards away from it and consider it too small.

Ebuyer were doing a 32" for £250 not so long ago so the prices are dropping it seems. (albeit the quality of that tele wasnt as good as this one)

How far away do you sit from the TV?

Got one of these from Sainsbury in Mansfield a few days ago.
I was also a bit unsure about size as we did have a previous 32inch TV in one of the rooms - I find the 26 size ideal in the dining room and am pleased with the picture

gotta agree with danny-mac on this 1.. if you're used to a 32" it will be too small. i went up a size when moved to lcd from crt, so now got a 37" for main tv and it's less dominant than its predecessor.

having said that i managed to track 1 of these down today and it makes a great second set for the kids and their dvds/consoles

tv is one side and im the other
im sure they are all gone now

Hehe! I was gonna say that if you sit 8 yards away from your screen, no wonder you think a 32" is too small!

none at the sainsburys at the o2 centre, finchley road swiss cottage
