Says unit only. No stand.

For an extra £65, you get a new TV with a five year warranty, plus a stand.

The posted deal is much better than your link I think.

need a 32 for my conservatory so might have a punt as its got a 5 year warranty
Good deal, I bought a Toshiba 32” about 2 months ago for £130 from Tesco. Not smart TV, no WiFi, not 5 years guarantee and only HD ready. Wish I had not bought it now.

I bought this from Tesco back before Christmas for around £229. We've got it in the bedroom and it's great for the money. Sound is nothing to write home about but it's perfectly adequate. The picture is good it's often used for xbox as well. No grumbles from me.

Seriously doubt this model has ever seen a Toshiba factory. Far more likely to have come off the Turkish supermarket-TV production line in the Vestel factory where a generic model gets a Tosh badge stuck on it and packaged into a Tosh box. No issues if Vestel is OK for the buyer. Due respect to JL for the 5yr warranty.

No remote either (I know that may be obvious)

You're right. It is just a rebranded generic TV. But still great as a second TV or for students etc.
Great TV people go on about sound but it can be altered in the settings. Been using this model for about three months as main TV no problems at all. A steal at this price with 5 year warranty. Would definitely recommend it.
As for rebranded take a look on Google and see just how many of the big brand names are made by Vestel.
Exactly, loads of tvs made by vestel but all of them are excellent. My last 2 tvs were made by vestel and continue to last till date without any issues and looks great.

HOT. Toshiba whether made by them or vestel makes no difference. HOT for the deal.

Definetely Vestel, because Toshiba has stopped selling their own TVs on the European market 4 or 5 years ago. They only returned to Europe recently with Vestel TVs branded as Toshiba.
Does the Toshiba Smart Portal include Now TV and Amazon apps?
Thanks

Vestel in all but name.

Even with the five year warranty, I would never waste a penny on something made by these lot.

You get just the tv ,no stand or remote
Low star reviews all mention the same issues (reboots itself). Personally I'd avoid it.

Same price on Amazon for those who prefer there. No Amazon or NowTV by the looks of it - doesn't show either on the picture of the smart hub, not sure if they can be added but a couple of reviews mention buying a firestick to go with it so I'm guessing it's a no.

I didn't read that bit, 1 review said Overall good tv. Remote is a bit rubbish. My refurbs had everthing in the box..

Some of the refurb TV's on Tesco's eBay do come with stand/remote but not all hence the disclaimer. I guess Tesco can't be bothered to check all stock and update each listing accordingly. Could always message and ask as they might check for you if you're lucky!

Not sure why people keep saying this. When I bought mine I searched and searched, but for a 1080p, 32" television this was and still is the cheapest I can find. Yes bigger 4K TV's are available for not much more, but they are no use to people that have space restrictions or need something smaller.

This is a different TV 720p not 1080p. The matching TV on Amazon is £199 - amazon.co.uk/dp/…DQM
Should be £1.99 .. even then it's a hard decision
i have got this tv for 2 weeks it has fantastic picture and the sound is excellent no problem with it it is working fast. only the problem is that the wifi is disconnecting sometimes so used the cable its now fine. also couldnt find any tv channels yet as i dont have any antenna. and couldnt used any box because i had old HDMI cable it needs the 2.0a HDMI cable to be connected.
Excellent price.

I'm not a particular fan of students, but why do people on here always try and palm the cr4p off on them? Every terrible item says 'okay for students' in the comments.
Got my open for something like this TV for a conservatory/playroom. If anyone has perkbox, you can pay £190 instead of £200 with 5% off at John Lewis/Waitrose. Decisions decisions

If it's OK for me, it's OK for students
The Tesco eBay listing is buy it now / best offer. I had an offer accepted at £125. Not bothered about the stand as it will be wall mounted, and I use one for all remotes everywhere anyway...
Had mine a month. Bought at 230 but John Lewis refunded me the 30 when they dropped the price again (sorry for not posting all).

It's a decent TV with a good quality picture.

I was restricted by size as I wanted it to fit in an alcove and this was a good 32 inch TV that wouldn't cost closer to the 40 inch 4k tvs like some I saw.

Overall very happy. Rebadge or not doing the job well.
