Was looking for a 32" LCD TV for as cheap as possible as are most people these days and found this from Dixons, its a good brand at a good price as I have seen other 32" TV deals for more than this, apply the £10 off voucher and the free delivery vouchers codes to get this price.

Is this better or worst than the Toshiba 32AV555DB ? Specs look very similar to me.

Thanks

the AV is quoted as 20,000:1 dynamic contrast, the DB is quoted as 18,000:1, that's the only difference i can see

Still only 720p though

Mind this isn't the 32XV555DB 1080p (full HD). There's also some connections stripped I think so check out @ Toshiba. Superior set to all these cheap 'n' nasty sets though.

Still, good prices.

Hi guys I can't seem to find a review of this tv anywhere on the net and I hate buying without confirmation that what I'm buying is actually decent. I have a dilemma at the moment, I have roughly between £350-£400 to spend on a HD LCD and I have seen quite a few on offer on here in the past couple of weeks including the Sony KDL32V4000, this Toshiba and a number of Samsung's with varying model numbers and yes they all have their drawbacks associated with them, so I'm looking for the greatest compromise. I will be using the screen primarily for gaming on an xbox 360 console so the screen needs to be able to cope with moving images efficiently. When looking at the reviews for the Sony KDL32V4000 which is a cosmetic masterpiece if you ask me and the one I had had my heart set on I was displeased to find that it doesn't cope with moving images at all well and there is a quite significant amount of blurring, and so my quest to find the best budget 32" HD LCD goes on and that's where I need your help guys, if anyone has been in a similar position as myself and found that one tv which is perfect for the xbox 360 and has great quality tv picture and sound and won't cost an arm and a leg or maybe a kidney please reply to this thread. All the best, Adam.
