I can't see why anyone would buy a refurb 32" for this price when there are sooooo many other deals out there similar and slightly higher for brand new. Not a hot deal for me i'm afraid but ONLY because it is a refurb...this price for the tv new would be ok.

I am sure that some of the people who bought this tv or any other tv, laptop from Argos Ebay recieved refubrished as new Condition and they are happy with it. If not you can always return this tv and they will pay for postage. You can't find new 32" new at this price

Around £200 is becoming the normal price for a 32" LCD TV. Various makes & models have been listed on here, including an Hitachi from Argos instore. Most are still good value in size to price ratio.

You can!!!!!!!

Ebuyerexpress have a sharp at less than £200 brand new I know Asda do one at less than £200 and it has 3 hdmi yep one more than the Tosh and if I looked I would find others. This will be on sale somewhere brand new for around £200 in the next few weeks, Best Buy did have it at less than £200 in january.

At the end fo the day he who pays his money takes his chances, as an opinion a 32" quite basic tv that is refurbished is just not a hot deal for me. We had a HIGH spec full HD Samsung on last night for £40 more brand new and there have been loads this last week a little over £200 that are far higher spec and brand new. Don't take any comments personally it is just my opinion.....and that is what are here for yes? Share deals and share opinions, I will always back up an opinion with something tangible...<3

This is a little bit of daft of statement, it is like you are slagging Argos but that is who you are promoting with this deal.....hmmmmm

You need to revise the source of your knowledge, as you obviously don't know what you are stating is absolute false information. Hitachi is a major Japanese corporation of which TV production is just one division. Some models are supplied exclusive to a retailer, such has been the case with D.S.G. Argos (H.R.G.) is, as anyone knows a retailer, not a manufacturer.

Wikipedia : "Hitachi ElectronicsHitachi manufactures many types of electronic products including TVs, Camcorders, Projectors and Recording Media under its own brand name.

The Hitachi brand is also used under licence by Dixons Retail Group (owner of Currys and Dixons) and Home Retail Group (owner of Argos and Homebase

It would be almost impossible for any manufacturer to source all components "in house" so most brands could be considered hybrids. Different brands of electronics can be made in the same factory regardless if it is located in China or Turkey (Vestel Group). It happens in the car industry with Toyota, Peugeot & Citroen models coming from the same source. Vauxhall (G.M.) make vans for Renault, so what should the product be considered as ? Getting back to the point, Argos may have exclusive rights to market certain brands, but they are not manufacturers.

Wow, amazing price for a great brand

I would be interested out of curiosity to know what those living in ROI have instead?

My mother has this, she paid £250 just before Xmas from Argos. The freeview tuner in it is very poor and doesn't pick up all muxes. She had to buy a seperate freeview box in the end. Picture is ok I guess.

It may not be Full HD, but you won't really notice the difference on a 32 inch TBH.

Clearly you don't know what you are talking about then.

Can't we all just get along?

Picture is only ok, nothing special imho, just like a lot of flat screens. Connected with a Humax HD. Bought as a xmas present for my son who is happy playing COD and watching Waterloo Road on it. If picture quality is important to you then look elsewhere but you will pay more.

I got this TV for £208 in december, I don't think you should get a refurb of it. The price tells you it's lower quality to start with, now it's aged and tinkered with.. not a good idea.

Some of these comments make me laugh about Toshiba being Toshiba, This TV is a Turkish made Vestel, nothing remotely to do with Toshiba, it just has a Toshiba badge, exactly the same as the Alba model.
